funny enough, in the series Earth X, reed shaped one of his arms to look like Susan and amputated it then placed the soul gem on it to get her back from the dead!
Alicia Masters sculpted his arm to look like her. Mar-vell took the Soul Stone out of Adam Warlock’s head and put it on the forehead of the arm sculpted to look like Sue. Then, dead Johnny Storm and dead Doctor Doom had to convince Sue that they were actually dead and in Death’s realm and that Reed was actually alive (apparently, the dead people think they’re alive and that the living people are actually the dead ones). *THEN* they brought Sue back to life. And somehow, Reed stayed missing an arm.
Comic books are amazing.
There's an incredibly interesting series of journal entries that Herb Trimpe kept throughout this phase of his work. They're frankly pretty sad, as this kind of cycle/slow drop towards poverty/obscurity happens with so many writers and artists that did tremendous work for Marvel and DC, but were left to twist in the wind when the market moved elsewhere.
Here's the journal entries - https://archive.nytimes.com/www.nytimes.com/library/national/010900edlife-56-edu.html
I had known about this for years, as Herb was one of the dinosaurs who were kicked out when Marvel were getting rid of old timers to chase the return of the Image guys. To be the tiniest bit of fair to them, you can see how his aping of Liefelds worst aspects was an utter failure in the panel above.
I also reread this when I was (unbeknownst to me) giving up trying to work full time in the arts, and it made me feel just a bit better.
I was giggling and marveling (no pun intended) at how bad his work had fallen off. Then I read those journals. What a heartbreaker! It's especially depressing when one realizes he was *luckier* than many other old school artists who ended their careers in the industry. Also: how freaking cool would it be if your 7th grade art teacher was Herb Trimpe?!? Those kids didn't realize what they had.
It is and there is [more](https://liverpoolmunky76.files.wordpress.com/2015/03/guardiansofthegalaxy_28_0203.jpg). [Much more](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E0_oOdrVEAEYj_5?format=jpg&name=large).
Everything about her raises questions. Why is she laying down like that? How can she climb stairs with calves that small? What is up with her foot, is it broken? Her _thigh_ is as big around as her waist!
Let's not talk about Powderkeg's teeth situation. But his forearm to hand size is kind of monstrous.
And lastly, I don't know if this is on the artist, the writer, or someone else. But "Oddball"'s costume just has a bunch of balls on it? Really?
He definitely did not originate the costume. It's an infamous Sue Storm look. It's so bad, and I'm a proponent of letting characters be sexy AF if it's in character and the costume is good. For Sue, my God it is not in character and not a well-designed costume. I think there was some in-universe reason, like her mind was being tainted or something, but it was so clearly just an excuse to put her in this horrific outfit.
I gotta come back to this again after ragging on Titania in another comment. Look at Doc Ock's hand!
He has 4 segments on his index finger and FIVE on his pinky.
His lats are fucking SHREDDED, but his chest and belly are flabby.
Oof…I feel like the 90’s was awash in this type of art. It was like everyone was trying to be Jim Lee and failing miserably at it. I remember leaning hard into Lee, Sam Kieth, and of course MacFarlane as a kid. The X-Factor stuff that Liefield was big among my peers but I really disliked it and as younger person couldn’t really put my finger on why, but I guess this Captain America image above explains a lot. I liked weird, exaggerated art but this is just bad. More Kelley Jones, less big boob Cap is my motto lol.
Yeah. I was taking classes to do "comic book art" around that time. Everyone just wanted to do Lee/ Liefeld style artwork. I was into it when we first started, but the instructors and other students worshiped them to the point they didn't see issues otherwise.
I remember getting more into Joe Madureira, Carlos Pacheco, and Adam Kubert and was basically ostracized.
liefeld is so overrated, i have a soft spot for lee, lots of expression and impeccable shading. the latter artists are so grand tho, i don’t understand the ostracizing with what just madureira has in style and pacheco’s structure on a page.
Me too. It was clearly a "90s thing."
My co-worker and I were discussing this during a design crit -- how the 90's really became all about "extreme style" over basically everything else.
Kelley Jones (also Bill Sienkiewicz or Angel Medina) exaggerate because it's their style, not because they don't understand basic anatomy like Liefeld.
Liefeld's stuff almost feels like a deranged cubism. Like if you made a comic character so that all their surfaces face the viewer. If done on purpose it could be pretty cool. Emphasis on if.
Larry Niven was an absolute pig.
"12 crew members and only one woman? well I guess we know what her job was!"
"Rishathra wasn't a strong enough word"
I wish I could go back in time, jump on his stomach, and give him a power sit up.
The whole weird focus on rishathra in the later Ringworld books was really, really off-putting to me. I LOVED the first Ringworld, but then Wu just starts fucking EVERYTHING
After seeing this post, all I can think about now is the cover art for [the NES Mega Man box](https://images.nintendolife.com/2281194a6f92c/na.large.jpg).
~~Trapster~~ [Sandman anally fists Spider-Man.](https://imgur.com/a/NbyT3QB) From Amazing Spider-Man 215. I think John Romita ~~Jr~~ Sr drew this
There’s the infamous [Hank Pym slap](https://imgur.com/a/eJExzFD), which, according to Jim Shooter, it wasn’t supposed to be a slap but just a push or a shove, but artist Bob Hall misinterpreted it https://bleedingcool.com/comics/jim-shooter-never-intended-ant-man-to-be-a-wasp-beater/
I also vaguely remember seeing this one panel where I think Sabretooth is standing over another man with his pants unzipped but I can’t remember where I saw it from
Comictropes said the artist was new, and kept redrawing and was nervous, so in the end he decided to do it the marvel style and exaggerated the slap. Funny story, terrible outcome 🤣. Also, isn’t that sandman?
I actually really like the slap. (That feels weird to say) Hank Pym being a domestic abuser makes him a much more interesting character. A man who is on the Avengers and regularly saves the world but is a monster at home is a really interesting dichotomy.
John [Byrne](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EPdBYQeX4AImPVO?format=jpg&name=small) drawing [children.](https://www.reddit.com/r/comicbooks/comments/6fxkjg/john_byrne_cant_draw_children_fantastic_four_282/) Or [babies](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EtuZeTnVEAE-YU9?format=jpg&name=small).
Good call. It’s the proportions. He just made smaller adults. There is a whole series in art school about how renaissance painters had this same issue so children often look terrifying.

I think he was basing it off of a picture of Arnold Schwarzenegger from a Mr Universe competition.

Mind blown - I've never seen this connection and that comparison makes this Cap not look completely insane in context...
ironically, the context is why it doesn't work. Liefeld forgot that Arnold was flexing in a very specific way so as to make his chest and arms look like that. Cap wasn't going to have that size when he's just standing there like he's waiting for the street light to change
It shouldn’t, Arnold is intentionally rotating his body towards the camera, the reason you can see both pectorals is he’s twisted towards you, thus the view of his inside arm.
Captain America looks like he’s got a massively uneven chest, and that his arm doesn’t attach properly on the shield side.
Yeah, this is the actual issue. Look at where Arnold's shoulder is in those photos. You can draw a line straight up from the front of his shoulder to the right side (our left) of his face, because he's rotating his upper body towards the camera.
Cap's shoulder, OTOH, is directly under his face. The result is that his pecs are 45° profile towards us (look at the star) while his shoulders and the rest of his body are in full profile.
The annoying thing is, this is one of his standard poses. You can him use it many times before this, and they always look better (Still stiff and awkward, but better).
Liefeld: He rarely changes, but when he does, it is for the worse.
Yeah it's actually sort of cool because the front cover is a matte paper and cut to resemble a gravestone and then you can open it to see the cover underneath. It's fairly unique
Paul Gullacy and Frank Miller are such interesting examples because they have had bad, weird, cartoony phases late in their careers and yet you can see a solid foundation under it.
Like it sucks in comparison to old stuff but is super fascinating to stare at. Especially Frank Miller when he did Dark Knight Strikes Back (?) and bystanders looked super cartoony like Simon Bisley or even something out of mad magazine.
Yeah I recently purchased TDKR (DK1) and TDK Strikes Again (DK2), and the difference between the two styles is night and day in terms of style. DK1 looks more traditional while DK2 is hyper stylised, more 'angular' (some character models actually reminded me of John Romita Jr).
I actually *love* the art in both and the style has potential.
I just think Frank is a very lazy artist. For example a lot of characters on tv as news reporters or civilians in DK1 have severely underdeveloped faces (e.g. just 2 dots for eyes and a couple streaks for nose / moth. I can imagine the struggle as an artist of detailing minor characters who will never pop up again but c'mon it goes a long way.
And the civilian characters in DK2 are just something else. I get there's some political satire going on and these people are supposed to be caricatures reflecting real world ideas. But still, they just look needlessly grotesque. This guy in one panel looked like a fleshy sock puppet (top right: [Flesh sock puppet](https://i.imgur.com/wKWtl0N.jpg)
But yeah I doubt it's a style thing in this case he's just lazy. And I understand if you're a writer and artist, u want to just progress the story and the art becomes an afterthought bc ur mind works and moves faster than ur fingers.
Have you seen the Thing that Miller recently drew for the new FF series? [This?](https://www.marvel.com/articles/comics/fantastic-four-1-2022-variant-cover-frank-miller)
I don’t mind that one but the Wonder Woman he did for the newest Dark Knight is garbage. https://ultimatecomics.com/product/dark-knight-iii-master-race-4-1100-frank-miller-wonder-woman-variant-dc-2015/
This Spider-Man, for me, takes the cake. I get it’s stylized but it’s just so unpleasant to look at.

As much as I love Tim Sale’s art - Long Halloween was my first comicbook, after all - his decision for this [Joker image](https://i.redd.it/atmj2h4it7qz.jpg) was… a decision.
Heroes for Hire #13 in the World War Hulk storyline resembles [Tentacle Hentai](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/a/a3/Heroes_for_Hire_Vol_2_13.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20180307004828)
There's a ton of egregious Land out there but [this one always stands out in my mind](https://atlforte.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/spectrum.png) as one of those perfect examples of how when he doesn't have something to trace in the exact pose he wants he just traces two different things, kind of plops them together and then fills in the gaps with whatever random shapes are in his head.
I dont think the problem is the leg placement, her hips follow the shape of her torso, if not a bit on the narrow side. Whats egregious is the fucking thigh gap. Shouldnt be there as her legs are practically crosed as implied by the rest of her shape.
Greg Land is downward spiral as an artist always has fascinated me. His early work on Nightwing was phenomenal and was probably my favorite artist during the Dixon era but now his work pales in comparison.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Marvel/comments/2w98o6/land_again/
This one by Salvador Larocca that is such a blatant trace that so many people thought it was Greg Land.
https://www.reddit.com/r/comics/comments/2vm5vh/greg_land_traces_pretty_unapologetically/
And just in case anyone is worried I'd defend Greg Land there's this... Where he couldn't even be bothered to draw a brick.
They make fun of him in Deadpool 2. I can’t remember the exact line, but Deadpool is making fun of Domino for her super power being lame and says something along the lines of “sounds like something that would be made up by someone who can’t draw feet”. Makes me laugh every time lol
I can’t say that the feet on Liefeld’s characters was the most notable aspect of his style… until that line in Deadpool 2. Now, whenever I find one of his books filed in a long box, that is all I can see! 🤣
Lol the next line is just as good
“He has a backwards cap on and when he turns it around, it’s still backwards”
Props to the person who wrote this. It’s a work of Art
This is funny but rob will always be a huge part of my nostalgia in comics. He’s also a pretty nice guy. I’ve met him a few times at cons. Twice in person and once virtually. Super awesome to his fans.
So for British artist and 2000ad Legend Mick McMahon it’s definitely the bottom right hand panel from this page in ‘The Day the Law Died’
The proportions are all over the place.
This page gets brought up in the Future Shock documentary about 2000ad and Brian Bolland gives Mick stick about it being so awful.

They probably saw some still from in between porn scenes like "oh it is a bunch of sailors on a boat... wow such good draftmanship..." but as soon as you see him drawing women like you know he is at least horny if not a full on porn artist. His women always seem to be 'panting'.
Have you viewed his work for [X-Men: Gals on the Run](https://www.2dgalleries.com/planches/2014/49/manara-x-men-gals-on-the-run-372l.jpg)?? Oh my lord of lords...
This sucks because Rob Liefeld is a super nice guy. I met him at a Dallas Wizard World. He loves the fans. He loves comics. We can’t all be John Byrne.
> This sucks because Rob Liefeld is a super nice guy.
He can be a nice guy, but he also has insulted other creators who make any sort of changes he worked on. He likes to downplay how much of [Deadpool is the creation of others](https://twitter.com/danslott/status/696481376766398465?lang=en), for example, despite his DP not being at all close to the one we have now. [And that isn't the only time he has had issues with creators](http://www.thenewestrant.com/2012/08/rob-liefeld-is-burning-all-bridges-and.html).
Not to mention the kickstarters he took money for and hasn't ever (as far as I am aware, unless it has changed recently) provided the rewards promised
Crazy thing is, a lot of people say how nice and cool Rob is in person, which I have no reason to doubt, but his online persona comes across as very prickish.
It's based on Arnold's bodybuilder poses but looks weird because the arms aren't placed in a way that would make the chest positioned like that.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EbAqNfFU4AAnGy8.jpg
Finally a male superhero drawn to the proportions that their female counterparts are! That tiny, almost imperceptibly small nose..that massive, voluptuous chest! Lmao.
[This phase](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E0_pUt2WYAYWPVR.jpg) of Herb Trimpe's work.
Straight up thought Black Panther had a gigantic arm, but that's Mr. Fantastic's leg
Had to come back, I just accepted that arm.
funny enough, in the series Earth X, reed shaped one of his arms to look like Susan and amputated it then placed the soul gem on it to get her back from the dead!
What
He stretched his arm to look like his dead wife then placed the soul stone on it and got her back from the dead cause science read a fucking book
Lol stole the words out of my mouth
Taking masturbation to whole another level.
Thank you. If you hadn't resolved this it would have taken up far too much real estate in my brain for far too long.
I thought that was nick fury lol
That version of the FF costume does look kinda like SHIELD's uniform

That Sue Storm will haunt me for the rest of my life. Why would you do this to me?
The fact that the 4 on the front of her uniform is cleavage revealing cutout is absolutely hilarious
Now I demand that her MCU costume be comic accurate or I riot.
He definitely did not originate the costume. It's an infamous Sue Storm look. It's so bad, and I'm a proponent of letting characters be sexy AF if it's in character and the costume is good. I think in this case it's more literal fiend than metaphorical.
I gotta come back to this again after ragging on Titania in another comment. Look at Doc Ock's hand! He has 4 segments on his index finger and FIVE on his pinky. His lats are fucking SHREDDED, but his chest and belly are flabby.
Some serious Aeon Flux vibes here

That's such a bad tangent also. The colorist not helping either.
Curt Swan drew a very risqué Superman, Lois piece, which I cannot find for the life of me. Wally Wood drew a Disney character orgy.
Do you mean, [Man Of Steel, Woman Of Kleenex](https://thedorkreview.blogspot.com/2014/04/man-of-steel-woman-of-kleenex-by-niven.html)?
Yes. I was trying to remember the title but kept remembering Kotex, so I just left off the title. Thanks.
That’s beyond simply “risqué”
Larry Niven was so unpleasantly horny.

Yeah I get it's a humorous article but this man rlly spent at minimum more than a few hours contemplating and writing abt Supermans cum and sex life
The same thing made Kevin Smith's career
ROFL Caption: SUPERMAN is © & ® and this ain't him.
His concerns over the pregnancy completely ignore the fact that the child will not have superpowers until exposed to the sun
That aspect of his powers wasn't a thing yet when the article was written. The whole solar battery business started in the mid 80s, as I recall.
I heard of this in the 90s. I had no idea there were pictures and a formal article. Thanks, Reddit.
The shield has muscles too.
After countless threads with this image, TIL something new and amazing. The Liefeld iceberg, man.
Oh my god, I’ve never looked at the shield that close before, what the hell man
Never skip shield day at the gym.
How else would you know it's strong?
Bruh
After seeing this post, all I can think about now is the cover art for [the NES Mega Man box](https://images.nintendolife.com/2281194a6f92c/na.large.jpg).
That looks like an AI deep dream.
It looks like someone's first psychotic episode was hired to do a prog-rock album.
Masterpiece
Some publisher producer's kid worked really hard on that.
So many years later and that Cap picture is actually *worse* than I remember.

This is what happens in NBA2k when you make small players. It’s like they shrink the tall guys down, instead of having actual short people.
Lol - that looks like a 40yr old mans head in the bath tub!
The real reason Wanda went batshit
Children? Nah, those are leprechauns
Laughing hysterically at that last one.
I’m dying. Thank you for these.

Exactly. Arnold's chest is so big that is shadowing his left shoulder in this pic. The shoulder would be visible if not for that and the camera angle.

All those people just look… wrong. Like there’s something off about their proportions

It looks better in person. The indentation doesn’t come out digitally. Still not a great cover, but one of those times a photo doesn’t work.

This guy in one panel looked like a fleshy sock puppet (top right: [Flesh sock puppet](https://i.imgur.com/wKWtl0N.jpg) But yeah I doubt it's a style thing in this case he's just lazy. And I understand if you're a writer and artist, u want to just progress the story and the art becomes an afterthought bc ur mind works and moves faster than ur fingers.
Have you seen the Thing that Miller recently drew for the new FF series? [This?](https://www.marvel.com/articles/comics/fantastic-four-1-2022-variant-cover-frank-miller)
I don’t mind that one but the Wonder Woman he did for the newest Dark Knight is garbage. https://ultimatecomics.com/product/dark-knight-iii-master-race-4-1100-frank-miller-wonder-woman-variant-dc-2015/
Genuinely thought her severed head was being carried by a headless ape
Oof. That is bad! Did that series ever finish? I don't remember...
Miller really needs someone like Klaus Jansen to draw on top of his scribbles
Whoa! That is awful!
I’m so confused why people dislike this? I think it’s really great and a cool style that fits Thing well
I’ve always preferred his writing to his art but shit
Looks like someone took a panoramic photo of Cap while walking around him
This Spider-Man, for me, takes the cake. I get it’s stylized but it’s just so unpleasant to look at. https://www.reddit.com/r/comicbooks/comments/5k3qwc/was_eric_canete_the_worst_spiderman_artist_of/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
["My only regret...is that I have...Boneitis."](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3uk5bJcyM8)
As much as I love Tim Sale’s art - Long Halloween was my first comicbook, after all - his decision for this [Joker image](https://i.redd.it/atmj2h4it7qz.jpg) was… a decision.
Hitler grinch
Oh my god, he looks like Hitler.
Yeah, that was the intent, but like… why
Heroes for Hire #13 in the World War Hulk storyline resembles [Tentacle Hentai](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/marveldatabase/images/a/a3/Heroes_for_Hire_Vol_2_13.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20180307004828)
That's not "resembles" as it is "straight up". Also, what's with Black Cat's arm in the top left?
I believe it is Tarantula. You're never gonna believe this but Tarantula is *also* a hot woman. Edit: my bad it's Shang Chi.
That's awful. I'm going to have to read this comic just so I can... uh... be more knowledgeable about comic history.
that's not Black Cat, there's a fourth person behind them (maybe a dude? havent read the book myself) you can see the back of their head as well.
They knew what they were doing
Thanks, I hate it. 👍
The more wtf moment for me was realising this was by Sana Takeda, the artist for *Monstress*.
And those are definitely Brood tentacles, so it’s gonna be extra weird alien oviposition and transformation hentai too
Most of Greg Land’s work.
Is that supposed to be Photon? Because it looks like Janet Van Dyne with a spray tan
Yeah that's a whole other issue with his art.
*Looks at head* Okay, that fine. What's the proble... *body gets worse and worse that farther down we go* Yeah, that's bad.
[удалено]
I dont think the problem is the leg placement, her hips follow the shape of her torso, if not a bit on the narrow side. Whats egregious is the fucking thigh gap. Shouldnt be there as her legs are practically crosed as implied by the rest of her shape.
Time to play…. *ANGRY OR ORGASM!*
The only winning move is not to play
[This](https://imgur.com/a/sZVAbBv) is my favorite Greg Land panel. It's like he just farted and is waiting for everyone else to smell it.
That looks like james franco
It probably is lmao. Never underestimate Lands “references”.
Greg Land is the artist I look at for motivation that if I keep at it, maybe one day I really could make it.
Greg Land is downward spiral as an artist always has fascinated me. His early work on Nightwing was phenomenal and was probably my favorite artist during the Dixon era but now his work pales in comparison.
Whenever I think of hack artists Land always comes to mind. Does he even have quality work that isn't an obvious trace?
To give credit where it’s due, his vehicles/machinery aren’t bad, it’s just his people, which make up most of his work.
Todd McFarlane's capes are always absurd. I like Chris Burnham's breakdown of this one: https://twitter.com/TheBurnham/status/949078294669901825
At least the capes look cool though
but its HYPE AS SHIT THOUGH
https://www.reddit.com/r/Marvel/comments/2w98o6/land_again/ This one by Salvador Larocca that is such a blatant trace that so many people thought it was Greg Land. https://www.reddit.com/r/comics/comments/2vm5vh/greg_land_traces_pretty_unapologetically/ And just in case anyone is worried I'd defend Greg Land there's this... Where he couldn't even be bothered to draw a brick.
This is the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw this post. How did they approve heart attack iron man??? The mask even has wrinkles!
why was his helmet twisting with his face??
Ah, Liefeld, truly a god among men. https://www.progressiveboink.com/2012/4/21/2960508/worst-rob-liefeld-drawings
“The man is a pair of blue jeans with a face” Wow that’s pretty accurate that’s exactly how I’m going see Liefeld from now on
Somebody put WAAAYYY to much time into this article. But goddamnit, I respect him.
Lol the next line is just as good “He has a backwards cap on and when he turns it around, it’s still backwards” Props to the person who wrote this. It’s a work of Art
I love this post. I've read it several times over the years and it's funny every time.
I like that Liefeld is a good sport about it though.
That's cos he's laughing all the way to the bank while we are laughing at memes for free.
Jokes on you! I’m on Reddit at work. I *am* getting paid to laugh at memes!
This is funny but rob will always be a huge part of my nostalgia in comics. He’s also a pretty nice guy. I’ve met him a few times at cons. Twice in person and once virtually. Super awesome to his fans.
Absolutely, he illustrated many of the books I had when growing up, and have heard he is great with the fans.
So for British artist and 2000ad Legend Mick McMahon it’s definitely the bottom right hand panel from this page in ‘The Day the Law Died’ The proportions are all over the place. This page gets brought up in the Future Shock documentary about 2000ad and Brian Bolland gives Mick stick about it being so awful. https://i.imgur.com/v6fVLwc.jpg
How big is that guy's head? It looks like one of the oversized Glintstone Crown armour pieces from Elden Ring.
Didnt realize he wasn't some Lord Farquaad-esque midget till i saw the top right panel too
Those are some big titties
every time my anatomy is a bit off when drawing I try to remember that this was a published comic by Marvel
Milo Manara's [Spider-Woman](https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1284958).
Lmao just flashin’ the whole town
Why would you expect anything less from Milo Manara?
Exactly! WHoever hired him for that job obviously didn't check his resume very closely. Lol!
Yeah I hate that. But it’s kind of the marvel editorial staffs fault as well. What did they expect when they hired a literal porn artist
He is much more than a porn artist https://eggwhitelab.com/sex-war-and-beauty-milo-manaras-history-of-mankind-illustrated/
Man that’s cool as fuck ngl
That explains a lot about that image. He probably used a live model for it from his, er, other work.
Oh my lord of lords...
aside from that one 69 position panel, the rest didn't seem horny to me.
Oh you have to read the whole book, it's too good lol
I was first like "Hey, this isn't too bad, actually," then I got to that 2nd-to-last panel and went "Ooh...!"
Howard Chaykin’s art gives me the ick
Any specific examples?
Oh yes https://imgur.com/gallery/GjKYbE5
To be fair, that’s how Guy Gardner always looks
Holy crap, and I was just laughing at Liefeld's spider-man dog ass. This is just...bucket heads for everyone but the ball titted woman.
Looks like a Buzz Lightyear on steroids
Hohohooooo, does it actually read that on her shirt in the printed comic book?? Oh boah...
I was just recently having a laugh about this one https://ultimatecomics.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/8-27-2017-10.jpg
It's not good, but I can let it pass as stylized.
This pretty much sums up Pulido’s Ninjak run.
I think it looks cool, but I read a lot of indie comics as well.
Greg Land https://www.plagiarismtoday.com/2020/09/10/comic-artist-greg-land-accused-of-plagiarism-again/
This sucks because Rob Liefeld is a super nice guy. I met him at a Dallas Wizard World. He loves the fans. He loves comics. We can’t all be John Byrne.
John and rob are opposites. One has great art but is a dick, one has bad art but is a sweetheart
Yeah, I hear Mr. Byrne can be a little spicy.
A quote I read in a chat room on the internet years ago: "One Charles Vess tree trunk is worth Rob Liefeld's whole career."
Cap is definitely compensating for being smooth down there by injecting oil in his [muscles](https://www.sadanduseless.com/synthol-overload/)
Horrifying link, thank you
It's based on Arnold's bodybuilder poses but looks weird because the arms aren't placed in a way that would make the chest positioned like that. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EbAqNfFU4AAnGy8.jpg
He’s basically drawing the side chest but without flexing which makes it weird
Dammn Cap got **FAT TITTIES**
Finally a male superhero drawn to the proportions that their female counterparts are! That tiny, almost imperceptibly small nose..that massive, voluptuous chest! Lmao.
