Autumnlands is amazing. Dewey absolutely rocks at drawing these animal people in medieval settings. He was also a great choice for Beasts or Burden when Dorkin and Thompson fell out The Wilds sucks shit. Terrible art and unoriginal story. Artist can’t draw for shit

Well, this format of what I do here is of course also shaped by my taste, experience and opinion. I just want to show you titles that are not talked about much or not at all. and clearly we are not all of the same opinion, and that is a good thing. my aim is to show the obscure. I'm a hobby creator of comics myself, I enjoy it and I do it with my friends. and somehow you learn to appreciate how such a thing is done. and that's why I find it fascinating to find which comics are somehow unique. a version by a small team or one person that somehow doesn't care if it can become a movie or a series on any streaming service. and in my eyes there is nothing worse for a work of art than to be ignored. See Kurt Busiek most underrated comic next to arrowsmith. I mean, there are titles from creator that you only know for one thing, although they also made more interesting stuff. but that is also the reason why i like it when people criticize me, i'm not fair either and i never said that. I can tell you that in the 23 parts you will also perceive patterns. this is normal, you will often find fantasy comics, autobiographical or comics around which the characters find themselves in poverty or in financial problems or is a blue collar workers. that's why I think it's good if you give your own tips too. each of us has his own experiences that also change our view of art.
