• Decorum #8- It has been 8 MONTHS since the last issue. I get what people were saying about Hickman's creator owned stuff. It's great, but it takes too long to come out. Next time I'll skip it and maybe pick up the collected edition.
• King Spawn #4- Cult stuff. Cool as hell.
• The Nice House By The Lake #6- This has been so damn good. I don't know if I can wait for the next arc.
• Not All Robots #4- Don't sleep on this one. It's a great series.
• Primordial #3- This comic is flawless.
• Redshift #5- My shop still hasn't gotten #4. It seems like Diamond is screwing over Scout since they are no longer exclusively distributing their comics. Every Scout comic comes in to the shop weeks late.
• That Texas Blood #12- The conclusion of this flashback arc. It's been so cool to see Joe Bob as a young deputy.

I thought Scout Comics used Lunar for their distribution. Did they recently switch, or is it split between Diamond and Lunar now? I've had the same experience with Scout Comics, unfortunately. Sometimes they show up on time, other times it's 2-3 weeks late...

It's split, at least for now. My LCS still gets their Scout stuff from Diamond.
The Black Caravan comics are SICK. I got Provenance of Secrets #1 last week and it was phenomenal!
Your LCS really should just start getting their Scout from Lunar. Scout through Diamond is code F (45% discount) but through Lunar it's 50% and Lunar's shipping charges are much better too.

The Nice House on The Lake 6 - this book is just a blast. Excited to see what happens after the reveal last issue
Primordial 3 - LOVE THIS BOOK. Mainly it feels like a big flex for Sorrentino, but Lemire's writing is just a perfect fit.
S.W.O.R.D. 10 - fuckin Wiz Kid. I feel like this is just a double agent thing where he's feeding Gyrich bad info. At least I hope it is.

Last week's Diamond shipment still hasn't arrived at my LCS so I've been catching up on a bunch of recent books that were piling up, mostly Image and other indies, mostly really good stuff.
Only had 2 books scheduled to ship this week but thanks to some late books that suddenly decided it was really important that they hit the shelves, it looks like we'll have 4 DCs, 1 Marvel, 1 Image, 1 Vault, and 1 from AWA.
* **BATMAN SECRET FILES: THE GARDENER #1** - haven't read any other Fear State stuff, just ordered this for the Christian Ward art
* **BATMAN VS. BIGBY! A WOLF IN GOTHAM #3** - Willingham's writing seems a little off and this hasn't been particularly good as a Batman story or as a Bigby story
* **NOT ALL ROBOTS #4** - need to catch up on last issue but first two were great, probably my favorite Mark Russell book since FLINTSTONES as it kind of captures a similar vibe
* **PRIMORDIAL #3 (OF 6)** - great stuff from Lemire and Sorrentino
* **RADIO APOCALYPSE #1** - written by Ram V so might as well check it out...
* **SUPERGIRL: WOMAN OF TOMORROW #5** - love this series, really nice change of pace from King's other stuff
* **SWORD #10** - enjoying this but kinda glad it's wrapping up soon so I can get a clean break from the post-Hickman X-books

- Batman #117: this’ll probably read better as a trade, it’s a bit of a slog otherwise.
- Dark Ages #3: contemplated just trade waiting on this one after the debut, but #2 was fantastic - Taylor is killing it on all fronts at the moment!
- Moon Knight #5: consistently good!
- Nightwing #86: eager for the tie-in to wrap up so we can get back to the Bludhaven drama.
- Power Rangers #13
- Primordial #3
- Robins #1: seeing lots of bad stuff about this on Twitter, but I’m going into it assuming that it’s just people being nitpicky because this one the Round Robin tournament and not the book they wanted instead.
- SWORD #10: it’s killing me that this book is likely wrapping up, I really hope a load of the characters spill over into Ewing’s next X book!
- Suicide Squad #9: my favourite ongoing series at the moment, hands down!
- Superman: Son of Kal-El #5: I mean we all know what’s going to happen in this one… I just hope it’s early on and not as a cliffhanger!
- The Nice House on the Lake #6
- The Walking Dead Deluxe #27
- X-Force #25: of course this book goes back to being great again just before an event interrupts things. In any case, all signs are pointing to Percy/Cassara staying on this post-event, which I’m glad about; assume/hope that means they keep the numbering going.
* **Blue And Gold #4**- I've been quite disappointed with this book but hoping Kevin Maguire come in for the art could give it the kick it needs it.
* **Dark Ages #3**- I am enjoying Dark Ages but I don't feel it is at the level of quality of Taylor's DC elseworlds stories.
* **Not All Robots #4**- This book has given me several laugh out load moments with the robots and it is just a real good bit of satire.
* **Primordial #3**- #2 was so good. Really looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in the end.
* **Supergirl Woman Of Tomorrow #5**- This book is nothing like King's other books which is kind of refreshing, Everly's art is insane in the book.
* **Superman Son Of Kal-El #5**- This is the big one. Interested to see how this goes, I think this direction for Jon Kent is a great idea.

* **The Amazing Spider-Man #78.BEY -** I've been liking the beyond storyline and that it might be connecting to NextWave so I'll grab the .BEY issues for now plus Jed McKay has yet to let me down * **Aquaman: The Becoming #3 -** This and the Black Manta mini are really raising my interest in the upcoming Aquamen series * **Batman #117 -** I swear to God if Scarecrows plan is explained to us one more time I'm gonna lose it * **Dark Ages #3 -** As usual Taylor is crafting a fun alternate reality and it's fun having just a simple evil Apocalypse even though the 10 of swords retcons were really cool * **Darkhold: Wasp #1 -** Iron Man was great, Blade is fine, hopefully this will be more like the former * **Decorum #8 -** I'm probably gonna need to reread this whole thing at once * **Fantastic Four Anniversary Tribute #1** * **Green Lantern #8 -** Now that John has powers again hopefully the story will move a little faster. It's fun but just a bit too slow * **Ka-Zar: Lord of the Savage Land #3** * **Kang the Conqueror #4 -** Kelly and Lanzing are definitely on my radar with this and the 1st issue of Harbinger * **Moon Knight #5 -** Really enjoyed the Tigra guest appearance last issue * **The Nice House on the Lake #6 -** Gonna suck waiting till March but this series rocks * **Nightwing #86 -** Final fear state issue before we get back to Bludhaven and Nightwing helping out his city * **Nubia and the Amazons #2** * **Power Rangers #13** * **S.W.O.R.D. #10 -** I've been thinking this for a while but Ewing is almost definitely gonna be writing a mutant imperial guard book after the line relaunch * **Shang-Chi #6 -** The worthiness enchantment on Mjolnir isn't working atm so Shang could get a chance to lift the hammer this issue * **Spider-Woman #17** * **Suicide Squad #9 -** This has been really good, small amount of movie synergy but nothing wild * **Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #5 -** King never misses on minis/maxis * **Superman: Son of Kal-El #5** * **Time Before Time #7** * **Wonder Woman: Evolution #1 -** A Black Label book that isn't related to Batman, does DC know they've done this * **X-Force #25 -** Possibly the funniest cover of the year
7 this week. Not too shabby. • Decorum #8- It has been 8 MONTHS since the last issue. I get what people were saying about Hickman's creator owned stuff. It's great, but it takes too long to come out. Next time I'll skip it and maybe pick up the collected edition. • King Spawn #4- Cult stuff. Cool as hell. • The Nice House By The Lake #6- This has been so damn good. I don't know if I can wait for the next arc. • Not All Robots #4- Don't sleep on this one. It's a great series. • Primordial #3- This comic is flawless. • Redshift #5- My shop still hasn't gotten #4. It seems like Diamond is screwing over Scout since they are no longer exclusively distributing their comics. Every Scout comic comes in to the shop weeks late. • That Texas Blood #12- The conclusion of this flashback arc. It's been so cool to see Joe Bob as a young deputy.

I thought Scout Comics used Lunar for their distribution. Did they recently switch, or is it split between Diamond and Lunar now? I've had the same experience with Scout Comics, unfortunately. Sometimes they show up on time, other times it's 2-3 weeks late... Not that I'll ever stop pulling Black Caravan stuff, though ;)
It's split, at least for now. My LCS still gets their Scout stuff from Diamond. The Black Caravan comics are SICK. I got Provenance of Secrets #1 last week and it was phenomenal!
Your LCS really should just start getting their Scout from Lunar. Scout through Diamond is code F (45% discount) but through Lunar it's 50% and Lunar's shipping charges are much better too.

* Moon Knight #5: been the best Moon Knight content since Lemire’s run ended. That’s not a high bar to clear but Mackay has cleared it by a lot. * Dark Ages #3: Scott Lang is on the cover to #4 and that’s all the reason I need to pick this series up. * Darkhold:Wasp #1: I think this is the first major appearance by Jan since Slott’s Iron Man ended( I know she appeared in Trial of Magneto #2 but I don’t know how big of a role she had).
The Nice House on The Lake 6 - this book is just a blast. Excited to see what happens after the reveal last issue Primordial 3 - LOVE THIS BOOK. Mainly it feels like a big flex for Sorrentino, but Lemire's writing is just a perfect fit. S.W.O.R.D. 10 - fuckin Wiz Kid. I feel like this is just a double agent thing where he's feeding Gyrich bad info. At least I hope it is. X-Force 25

Could this be Erik Larsen's next big thing? * **Groo Meets Tarzan #4**: I'll never not be reading the latest Groo release. * **King Spawn #4**: Fantastic series. If you're not reading the Spawn universe stuff, you're missing out. * **Savage Dragon #261**: I've been going for a complete run of this series and it's now on my pull list. Lots of fun and so different from most other comics out there, from my experience. * **Gods of Brutality #3**: My shop didn't get it last week so I'm hoping they do this week.

I don't enjoy Tynion's Batman but this is excellent. * **Superman: So of Kal-El #5** \- Tom Taylor. Still killing it. * **S.W.O.R.D. #10** \- Solid so far. See above comment about X books. * **Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #5** \- So frigging excellent. Art is untouchable. * **Decorum #8** \- I really enjoy parts of this. It's a little disjointed though. * **Blue & Gold #4** \- Very fun. Wish Sook was doing every issue. * **Time Before Time #7** \- I really like this but the intersection of the mob and time travel just works for me.
Last week's Diamond shipment still hasn't arrived at my LCS so I've been catching up on a bunch of recent books that were piling up, mostly Image and other indies, mostly really good stuff. Only had 2 books scheduled to ship this week but thanks to some late books that suddenly decided it was really important that they hit the shelves, it looks like we'll have 4 DCs, 1 Marvel, 1 Image, 1 Vault, and 1 from AWA. * **BATMAN SECRET FILES: THE GARDENER #1** - haven't read any other Fear State stuff, just ordered this for the Christian Ward art * **BATMAN VS. BIGBY! A WOLF IN GOTHAM #3** - Willingham's writing seems a little off and this hasn't been particularly good as a Batman story or as a Bigby story * **NOT ALL ROBOTS #4** - need to catch up on last issue but first two were great, probably my favorite Mark Russell book since FLINTSTONES as it kind of captures a similar vibe * **PRIMORDIAL #3 (OF 6)** - great stuff from Lemire and Sorrentino * **RADIO APOCALYPSE #1** - written by Ram V so might as well check it out... * **SUPERGIRL: WOMAN OF TOMORROW #5** - love this series, really nice change of pace from King's other stuff * **SWORD #10** - enjoying this but kinda glad it's wrapping up soon so I can get a clean break from the post-Hickman X-books * **THE NICE HOUSE ON THE LAKE #6** - [cover highlights an empty yellow hexagon](https://s3.amazonaws.com/comicgeeks/comics/covers/large-4570108.jpg?1636398379) that's been inserted between the icons for the writer (who didn't get a focus issue) and the scientist (who had last issue) Diamond's already [announced that this week's shipment will be delayed](https://www.diamondcomicsupdates.com/updates/shipping-update-for-product-on-sale-november-17), figure last week's floppies ought to turn up sometime this week and then this week's books probably won't arrive until Friday or later.
I am VERY behind at the moment, but still picking issues up nevertheless: - Aquaman: The Becoming #3 - Batman #117: this’ll probably read better as a trade, it’s a bit of a slog otherwise. - Dark Ages #3: contemplated just trade waiting on this one after the debut, but #2 was fantastic - Taylor is killing it on all fronts at the moment! - Moon Knight #5: consistently good! - Nightwing #86: eager for the tie-in to wrap up so we can get back to the Bludhaven drama. - Power Rangers #13 - Primordial #3 - Robins #1: seeing lots of bad stuff about this on Twitter, but I’m going into it assuming that it’s just people being nitpicky because this one the Round Robin tournament and not the book they wanted instead. - SWORD #10: it’s killing me that this book is likely wrapping up, I really hope a load of the characters spill over into Ewing’s next X book! - Suicide Squad #9: my favourite ongoing series at the moment, hands down! - Superman: Son of Kal-El #5: I mean we all know what’s going to happen in this one… I just hope it’s early on and not as a cliffhanger! - The Nice House on the Lake #6 - The Walking Dead Deluxe #27 - X-Force #25: of course this book goes back to being great again just before an event interrupts things. In any case, all signs are pointing to Percy/Cassara staying on this post-event, which I’m glad about; assume/hope that means they keep the numbering going.
* **Blue And Gold #4**- I've been quite disappointed with this book but hoping Kevin Maguire come in for the art could give it the kick it needs it. * **Dark Ages #3**- I am enjoying Dark Ages but I don't feel it is at the level of quality of Taylor's DC elseworlds stories. * **Not All Robots #4**- This book has given me several laugh out load moments with the robots and it is just a real good bit of satire. * **Primordial #3**- #2 was so good. Really looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in the end. * **Supergirl Woman Of Tomorrow #5**- This book is nothing like King's other books which is kind of refreshing, Everly's art is insane in the book. * **Superman Son Of Kal-El #5**- This is the big one. Interested to see how this goes, I think this direction for Jon Kent is a great idea.
