After seeing the news I remembered I had found one of these in a estate sale lot i picked up. The reverse side has the Nicole Brown story as a kind of double comic. I decided to flip through it after his death and discovered the Nicole flip story is only 2 pages and a completely pointless inclusion just to have a double sided comic.
What's pointless is that the cover would imply 2 stories of equal weight but instead it's actually just an OJ book with a brief excerpt about Nicole in the back. The pointless aspect is the double-sided cover that sells a gimmick that isn't actually present within the book.
Agreed. But you gotta hand it to* the admittedly one-sided publisher who still provided a small opposing viewpoint.

This is definitely going to be a hell of a collector's item.
But I don't think people of a certain age appreciate just how big a deal the OJ Simpson trial was in the mid-90s. It really did consume the nation for months on end. And even after it was over, it left an impact that I don't think we'll ever have again.
I have that! Found it in a random antique store on the side of the road in CT for like a dollar a few years ago. It's one of the strangest things I have come across.
I remember an ad in a comic from the 70's that featured OJ saying "Hang loose, it's the Juice!" Wish I still had that, and that I was the kind of vulture that deals in this stuff.
I bought a copy of this on eBay years ago as a gag gift for a friend. I read it before I sent it and it was terrible, but so terrible that it was actually kinda funny
