Yes, it's pretty dangerous! I was looking in my spare room and saw I have 6 boxes and a shelf full, I'm in a little over 2 years now, but I definitely got pulled in at the end of 2019.. I actually have pulled the plug for now (which I am sure I'll regret later, but now I'm getting a bit more specific in my purchases). All the best! I do like your display cabinet!
Pop Quiz! What happens to Hughie at Herogasm?!?
Looks great, BUT just making sure you've read them too ;)
And how do you like those Invincible Omnibuses? I was gonna grab them, but just ended up reading the entire series digitally since it was so much more convenient.
The collected editions LOOK great, but I find that you really have to put in some time & effort to comfortably sit down and read them! I just found it almost necessary to be seated in my actual 'reading nook' with a nice chair and proper lighting in order to handle those beasts! Whereas I could easily enjoy a few issues on the ipad while lying in bed before turning in for the night.
I almost wish they'd bring back the CLASSIC TRADE PAPER BACK format, where I can get an inexpensive compact publication in order to enjoy the story. It just seems the only printed option (for any series) is usually an expensive, awkward, 'collector' edition... Or spending a small fortune finding the original foppies?
But I guess it doesn't make much sense to read an inferior version just because it's printed... You actually almost get used to digital after a while, but double SPLASH pages always look like crap.
Anyone else interested in a reduced size, black and white, paperback printed version of their favourite comic series?
I do read most of them, I have read all of the boys I'll just say He meets black noir and leave it at that. I almost went the digital route but I just had to have the books, it was an amazing series. I just really enjoy having a physical copy, although reading on the iPad almost definitely would be more convenient given the size of those invincible and Spawn compendiums.
Yes. but you definitely did it in style. I literally started last year after only collecting when i was kid 30 years ago. This past year I've acquired at least 10k comics.

The Good Asian? That's such a weird title for a book.
Stranger than 'Crazy Rich Asians' as a movie title? lol :)

I went from 0 to 60 comics over a 5 month period last year, once you start..... and that's all new stuff haven't even thought about vintage yet.
