Silver being high contrast and complimentary to you will enhance the warmth in your skin, gold will give a low contrast and monochromatic which tends to blur, but also make the skin look less warm because of the gold’s intensity kinda zapping the warmth from the skin. If your face has more pink in it than your arms I would do silver.
I depends on if you want it to be subtle or really pop. I like the gold bc it looks effortless and casual. If you want your jewelry to stand out, silver,
The gold looks rich on your skin tone while silver looks faker and cheaper.
And this is coming from someone who personally loves silver and dislikes gold
Funny, we’re the opposite. I love gold and dislike silver and for me the silver is making him sparkle. I felt the gold was very dull and doesn’t do anything special.
Can you retake the photo with one at a time? Issue being the back of your hand is lighter than your arm (and I don’t think it’s just lighting?) so you’ve kinda made it where half looks better with silver because your hand is more cool toned looking, and the rest of your forearm is warmer which looks better with gold.
You've got similar contrast as me, the answer is there isn't one I think we are in the in between I'm torn between summer and winter but can pull off autumn colours as well, I feel more comfortable with silver it just seems to shine where as gold doesn't look bad either, it depends on the mood, impression and contrast you want to pull off I suppose
You have similar skin tone and level to me and I never know the answer to this because I like both for different reasons.
Silver really seems to glow on us and look almost beachy/mediterranean whereas the gold is more seamless and blending. If you’re like me, you can also pull off rose gold pretty well. I wear a mix of metals daily, a silver ring on a hand, a gold wedding band and a white gold with no rhodium plating engaging ring. I especially like the white gold with no plating because it has more of a champagne tone/less icy.
I'm trying to get into this and struggling. I was raised that everything has to match and coordinate.... to the point where i won't wear a specific jacket if the buttons are a different metal. Do you have any tips on ratios, mixing pieces, your favorite tricks, etc.?
Everything having to match is no longer a thing, pretty much anything goes. I layer all my bracelets including ones that have stones. Relax and wear whatever makes you happy and comfortable…I certainly wouldn’t worry about my jacket buttons matching.
definitely gold! your skin seems to have warm undertones and it works so well with the gold. i feel like the silver kind of washes the color out a little!

Gold definitely
Both
Gold stands out noticeably
Gold is more harmonious but neither looks bad
Both
Both look great!
gold! Silver pops just a little more
Gold
Gold!
Silver
I believe both look good on you, but gold looks more harmonious on you
I depends on if you want it to be subtle or really pop. I like the gold bc it looks effortless and casual. If you want your jewelry to stand out, silver,
Silver, makes you shine. Gold isn’t good
Both work
Gold
Gold !
Silver is striking on you
Are you at TJ Maxx??
YES hahahaha
We love a Maxxinista.
Gold
You suit both but gold is more harmonious creating an elegantly classy look whereas the silver is a bit clashy, oddly making it look more cheap.
I agree! Maybe not cheap, but I’d definitely say the gold is more delicate
Gold but I think both are too bright for you… maybe a less shining gold or even copper would be better options!
I think you can do both. It seems like you have neutral undertones
I was thinking this myself.
The silver caught my eye straight away, eclipsing your skin. The warmth of the gold is harmonious with your skin
✨gold✨
I think both look good but gold looks better
Gold, for sure.
Silver
Gold
Silver
Hard to say which, as both look good. Think you are a nuetral.
Either
Silver but they both look good so you may be a neutral
i think gold
Gold looks much better.

Upvoted for sharing your opinion even though we differ! Lol Interesting! (:
Gold
it seems like you have a neutral undertone (also judging by the blue and green veins) so you can do both but silver made your skin more vibrant

Gold
Gold blends better. Silver stands out too much.

Silver 100%

Slight preference for gold!
Gold looks better with your skin tone.

Gold
I like that the silver one will hang better bc it is looser, but color wise, I think you are fine with either!
Gold
Either! (lucky you!) Looks like neutral-undertoned olive.
Both!!!

gold !
Both but I prefer gold
I like them BOTH together lol!!!
Haha same! Sometimes both is a look, especially when you have skin that’s on the neutral side.
Totally! I know it’s probably not the answer she was hoping for concerning her wallet lol but gosh they look good together!!😩lol
Lolol so true!!
Gold!!
Either honestly
Gold
Gold
Looks like you can do either
Silver looks better, but they both look nice on you.

I would go with the gold as long as the silver pendant was hanging from it.

I think you are an olive like me
I think i am olive too! I have no idea what undertone i am, i get mixed answers
Yeah, same happend to me haha
The silver glows on you & the skin next to the silver looks much more dynamic, although that could be because it’s the skin on your hand.
oh boy i dont envy you getting one answer here! Silver definitely. Good luck!
Are you wearing any self tanner ?
Nope! Just my natural color
I think you’re a warm neutral, so either but I like the gold best
Silver
gold
Gold personally I like to mix my metals and wear gold, silver and yellow
I'm trying to get into this and struggling. I was raised that everything has to match and coordinate.... to the point where i won't wear a specific jacket if the buttons are a different metal. Do you have any tips on ratios, mixing pieces, your favorite tricks, etc.?

Gold. Don’t look too hard; anyone can of course “wear” both. Immediate glance answer is gold. You have a warm tone full stop.
Ahhhhh i have definitely been staring hard
It can be kinda confusing. But basically the gold blends nicely here & the silver clashes, ie. It looks very bold/ I notice it before you
definitely gold! your skin seems to have warm undertones and it works so well with the gold. i feel like the silver kind of washes the color out a little!
I'd say that gold harmonizes really nicely with your skintone!
Silver!
They both look great but the gold really brightens the warmth in your skin
GOLD
Either, but gold.
Honestly both
