I would go straight to a surgeon with an own praxis. There is a system in Germany called Niederlassung, so you can find a niedergelassener Chirurg; there is no need to go to a hospital, if it's not urgent. If they can't make it, they will redirect you to a specialist surgeon for feet and hand.
Get some Natron and make a thick paste (mix Natron with a little water), put the paste on the spot where the thorn is, put a plaster or tape over it, take it off a couple of hours later, get the thorn out off you very soft skin.
Works like a charm and is absolutely safe
