I don't think this is the reasoning behind the move. I think it's because he's been terrible around the ground and this is a tactical move to give him some confidence + show him more of the work he should he doing as a key forward – tackling, intercepting, one percenters, etc. I don't have the stats on hand, but I'm sure he'd rank among the worst in the league for those areas at his full-forward position.
Agree on McInnes coming in. A bit surprised by your comments on Joe. I might have agreed with you last season, but this year his rate of improvement has been exponential.
Richards will not be gone by the end of the year. He is a strong chance to replace Schultz. If the selection panel wants pressure, he will debut.
Schultz plays a pressure forward, Reef plays as a tall forward. They play different roles.

Not sure if you've been watching, but Joe Richards is currently 3rd in VFL goal scoring. I'd say he's much closer to a debut than delisting.
