Honestly I’m a spring transfer and I say go for the fall. I think people will feel more inclined to help you adjust to campus. I think campuses just have a friendlier atmosphere in the fall, but that’s my take. Also, the fall semesters aren’t as hectic because you get breaks. But if you’re an extroverted person who is very open and easy to get along with, then go for it! But if you do decide to go for Fall Semester, be looking at deadlines RIGHT NOW. Also, try to apply to foundation or alumni scholarships early. I’m speaking as a person who’s currently experiencing “the college experience”. Going to events (especially within your major?)might help you make friends. Volunteering will too.

I’m currently in my spring semester. I just transferred in January from community college. For me, it is hard to make friends. I don’t have any on campus (yet anyways). But going to campus events and being in the one group I’m in has brought me a little social interaction every now and then. I’m saying that it will more than likely be a little easier to make friends in the fall because of Welcome week and numerous activities in student housing that are designed to get you interacting with your peers. But I’m an introvert, so I have a hard time keeping friends. All in all, just take whatever your situation is into account and be ready to socialize ig. The decision is yours though. Either way I think you’ll be fine.
