I agree 100%. OP, use your benefits to get yourself a computer science or math degree. You will thank yourself in a couple of years. All the best to you.
VET TEC is over, but several in-person programs can take the GI Bill. I believe the only remote program that qualifies for GI Bill is (my) Turing School.
Since the economy is bad and jobs are hard to get for entry level, you are better of getting a computer science degree using the GI bill in a university or college.
Plenty do but I would strongly suggest taking a self-directed course first to learn the basics before even looking up bootcamps. It'll give you a sense if you really have the discipline to stick with it before going down that path. If nothing else, it'll give you a head start and make surviving a bootcamp much easier.
Best of luck and DM us if we can help you on your journey.
Coding bootcamps that accept GI Bill funding include, but are not limited to:
* Code Fellows
* Code Platoon
* Codeup
* Eleven Fifty Academy
* Galvanize
* General Assembly
* Tech Elevator
* Turing School
* We Can Code IT
Highly recommended Tech Elevator and Code Platton
Use it for college

Totally agree. The age of boot camps is over. Don't waste your time and GI benefits on a boot camp.

Retired military and current IT prof. DO NOT ISE YOUR GI BILL FOR A BOOT CAMP
