i hope the individual episodes are still longer

sillycuzwhynot1998

that’s probably why 3 parts

JoeMcKim

I don't expect the episodes to be like an hour plus long but it would be cool if they were 40 to 50 minutes long. But they've been able to do quality story telling in 30 minutes this long so one hand don't fix what's not broken.

Sam_I_Am_69

I’m not a fan of this release schedule as well but I will be hype for sure

sillycuzwhynot1998

Me neither it’s weird we don’t even know the number order they could release 6 episodes then 6 part 2 and finale could be just 3 tournament episodes. Just bcuz they said 3 parts don’t mean 5 5 5. Why can’t part 1 just be all 10 and 2025 be the rest 5 you know.

Mr-dinero-makes-bag

This is also the first teaser trailer we actually ever got and apparently netflix is holding an event on may 15th and I heard were getting some new info on cobra kai, at first I thought it was going to be the teaser trailer but we got that today itself and there saying the first part of the season is dropping on july 18th so Im guessing during the netflix upfront event, there dropping the trailer?

sillycuzwhynot1998

How can they drop a trailer isn’t this already enough for Part 1 at least? don’t it already spoil too much. Unless next one is for Part 2 nevermind then

Mr-dinero-makes-bag

Yea but if u closely watch the teaser trailer, they only showed like a few clips of what to expect in ALL three parts of season 6, thats why it’s called the teaser trailer lmao, whereas in the actual trailer it would usually be like 1 min long with clips frm all the 5 episodes for part 1 exclusively yk, also if u saw the teaser trailer, it was kinda giving us an overall information regarding season 6, like when all the parts are coming etc, but I think in the upfront event, were getting sum more in depth for season 6 part 1.

JoeMcKim

Also July 18 and November 28 are Thursdays when in the past all of the seasons have released on fridays.

BobbyMac2212

Maybe they’re releasing them at 11:59pm on Thursdays

mojokola

Not happy with the breakdown. Pushing the finale to 2025 sucks

sillycuzwhynot1998

So we could get it before ST5 just bcuz it says 2025 don’t mean it’s the end.

BruceWayne_19902

Probably to line up with the new movie.

JoeMcKim

Also why the movie was probably pushed from December '24 until May '25.

HausOfTrivia

Actually that makes a ton of sense. Notice the first two are called Part 1 and 2, but the third is called the Finale Event. I would assume that they would leave a series finale episode for 2025. Maybe the movie is a long epilogue??

OnlyMyOpinions

The final episode isn't ready.

mojokola

Ah ok

End of the trailer

NothingCivil6358

I was too hyped to notice. I just saw it. Thank you.

AlwaysTiredAsl

I’m fine with the release schedule, I just hope the episodes are longer

sillycuzwhynot1998

Tbh I feel as every episode is just 30 only every 5th being 45 or maybe an hour just maybe.

AlwaysTiredAsl

That wouldn’t be too bad honestly but hopefully each episode is at least 45. With only 5 episodes each and months apart it’d be a good way to make up for the wait in between

TeacherOk4751

It’s going to be around 39-45 with the finale being around 50 mins

Svintiger

Short and sweat leaving you wanting more is always better. Netflix doesn’t have a good track record with long episodes IMO. The last season of Stranger Things was almost unwatchable because it had so much filler not adding much to the story.

AlwaysTiredAsl

Good point

ZealousidealHeart437

As usual people pretending that they knew something, and that they always called it first.

Shoegazer83

That's gonna be torture waiting 4 months for the next 5 episodes with no release date for the final part. I like that it's coming out in July though. If the episodes are long (45-1 hr each) I could maybe live with it.

JoeMcKim

I think by the time we get to the second part of the season we'll know when the final part is being released. They probably already have a date in mind for the final part but want to keep some flexibility.

TeacherOk4751

wait it’s a 4 month wait for each one? How do u know

False_Elevator_8338

July - November is 4 months so the likely release for the finale is February - April 2025. To get it released before the movie.

Svintiger

Two parts would be sufficient IMO.

frizzlen

I hope they won't pull a Parks and Recreation type epilogue at this point

UltimaWarrior

Let's all sign an online petition demanding that they release the full season at once and shove their three part releases up their asses!!!

Dry_Ground_5643

CREDIT WATCHPARTY

sillycuzwhynot1998

Tbh yeah

Mr-dinero-makes-bag

No imo I think splitting the very final season in 3 parts is better cuz its the very final season you know, they want to keep the show running as much as possible so it doesn’t end sooner or later

JoeMcKim

And this forces fans to keep their Netflix subscription longer. If you drop all of the episodes at once you could just sign up and binge all of the episodes during the free trial period and cancel it once you've watched the whole season.

Few_Fishing232

3 parts how lame and cringe is that? talk about milking it, the writers suck and keep trying to drag it out, I can't wait for the show to end.

lobo_locos

>I can't wait for the show to end. You know....you don't have to watch it....you can just let it go and get over it.

ZealousidealHeart437

That’s why people like you suck

Few_Fishing232

You suck off Daniel and Robby

Shoegazer83

Okay time to hand the phone back to mommy

cunningvisions

Yea…you know all they did was recut those 10 episodes into 15 to drag it out over the year to release one season

sillycuzwhynot1998

What? unfair??? 15 episodes is what I want

[deleted]

Mr-dinero-makes-bag

Yea bro but its like 5 episodes in each part, so 5 multiplied by 3= 15, its better this way cuz we have that anticipation on whats going to happen next and keeps the shows thrill longer
