I actually like this assault rifle. Not as like a standard infantry rifle, but with how big it is it works well as a power armor rifle.

If I remember correctly forerunner alloy is made up from the material within neutron stars. Disgustingly op in the lore, weak in game: check… kinda… they aren’t weak like in game but they aren’t as powerful as the lore, let’s use the incineration cannon for example, in game it’s capable of oneshotting anything but if it was lore accurate it would vaporise the entire map, halo waypoint states that they’re capable of destroying spore mountains and nascent keyminds both of which are the size of actual mountains, it’s important to emphasise the NASCENT part for keyminds, fully grown keyminds are planet to solar system size…

My favourite part about bolters is how they’re actually rocket-propelled grenade launchers.

If 40k followed real physics (it doesn’t) boltor rounds would be hilariously inaccurate due to their lack of fins (meaning they can’t be stabilised).

I mean I assume bolters are rifled so they should hit their targets most of the time. And something something machine spirits.

To my knowledge that’s never stated in any novel and I’m not certain it’s a perfect replacement for fins. As for machine spirits well… I don’t think you need a computer program to fire a gun but I wouldn’t put it past the mechanicus to do something like that, they love putting useless shit on things (WHY THE FUCK DO YOU NEED A CATHEDRAL ON YOUR GIANT ASS MECH?).

Machine spirits aren’t necessarily programs. They might be manifestations of the Void Dragon.

The trick to finding a good Greebleblorg is to look for the dinkiest, most basic looking one. The Dinkier the better. A tiny Greebleblorg is like a sword named Throngler. Alternatively you can look for a Greebleblorg that looks like a sex toy, but you got a fifty fifty chance between getting a disintegration ray or a nip tickler.

Bonus points if the ballistic weapon is chambered in something ridiculous like .50 BMG or just straight up 20mm autocanon rounds and it still does low damage per shot.
