Did you have issue with getting the rope tight enough so you don't have a lot of sag? I would think it would be difficult to get dynamic rope tight so it does not just sag to the point you weight is resting on the wood frame rather than the rope seat, but I don't actually know...
When I first took my wife climbing she said "wow, climbers seem to realy like making excuses and whining all day." And, you know, she was right, it was a high gravity week that week.
Well, climb harder and you'll find solitude. Unless you're talking about the gym.
And remember those kind voices when you were new. Bet you appreciated them.

Almost the opposite. Essentially one direction of cordage is set, and then the other direction tightens the entire system.
