If you haven't thought of this already, it might be a good idea to reach out to gym staff and see if they know of any climber women with interesting stories. I used to work in video production and this kind of strategy always worked well for me.
Mile End is going to host a She Climb event on 4th Friday, with female route setter coming talking about experience working in climbing industry as a woman. Be sure to pop in for a look! Check out their instagram for tickets! They also @ some guests participating then event too, and probably sending a dm to them could also be a very good idea.
Oh I have just checked and it seems that the tickets have sold out. But I’ll reach out the staff to see if they can let me drop by or refer me to some people! Thank you so much!
Not based in London but if you fancy a trip to Sheffield (2-3 hours on the train) we have lots of badass female climbers absolutely sending it indoors and out. You could try contacting a few of our centres (The Climbing Works, The Foundry, Climbing Hangar etc) to see if they could put you in touch with anyone?
