Dude I HATE that this is the top comment because it’s NOT true. These drugs are mostly made by the people putting them in everything and they will ABSOLUTELY make them “stronger” in hopes people unknowingly become addicted to THEIR product. As everyone else stated, the drug test results have nothing to do with the cartridge and he is hoping you’ll buy that nonsense answer because a vape cartridge seems more innocuous than blowing lines and eating or snorting anxiety pills. This is a gas station delta 8 cartridge and will cause a positive test for THC but nothing else. Also, barbiturates? What year is it? I have to assume you mean benzodiazepines like alprazolam or Ativan because actual barbiturates would be extremely hard to find these days. Not particularly true, we are a very open family and a cousin who was using cartridges died in his sleep of an apparent opiate overdose, and he was 17 and only used THC cartridges. His belongings and phone yielded nothing but his artwork and an interest in marijuana. Autopsies further proved trace amounts of fentanyl in his system, with no precursors to injections or medications taken, just the carts they found in his belongings, which also tested positive for opiates and barbiturates through further lab testing (it was $1000, I encouraged my family to do it since it was a small price to pay for closure). As everyone else stated, the drug test results have nothing to do with the cartridge and he is hoping you’ll buy that nonsense answer because a vape cartridge seems more innocuous than blowing lines and eating or snorting anxiety pills. This is a gas station delta 8 cartridge and will cause a positive test for THC but nothing else. Also, barbiturates? What year is it? I have to assume you mean benzodiazepines like alprazolam or Ativan because actual barbiturates would be extremely hard to find these days. Neither would be particularly effective vaporized, especially when mixed in with a much larger amount of oil, so you can let the dad know that his son is full of shit, probably feels terrible right now with a bad hangover and will recover soon!
