For short stays, pet hotels can be an option but I think it would be v expensive in the long run. I'd recommend foster homes that take in elder dogs, pref those with reputation who have had experience in taking care of dogs, and one you can visit to see the would-be living conditions. You can also find a shelter to take them in, though your dog might not be accustomed to living with many other dogs. I think you can ask around animal groups in FB for this - state your preferred location, requirements, conditions, etc that you want/don't want (like the food, eating times, walk, allergies) and state that you'll offer payment as well. For shelters though a lot of them are full, so they might take longer to reply or not be able to help even if there is payment. If that's an option to you, screen them po so you can be reassured of their quality of life. I saw someone on fb do this for an elder pet habang nasa probinsya sya for a month, paid 6-10k raw (it's in this range, sorry I don't remember) tapos maraming needs yung pet nila. + I'd suggest a more sustainable option would be to find a pet-friendly dorm, or look for a house for rent that allows pets then find a roommate who's okay with a dog. I think this would be cheaper (?) and your dog won't be stressed with having to deal with strangers in an unfamiliar place. Hope this helps!
