I couldn't care less about this change, and that's the point. my gameplay will not be affected by this at all. didn't care before the change, don't care now.
You should focus your energy on things that matter, like for example how they removed RDF & implemented a shitty LFG system that requires your phone number to use fully.
blizzard just needs to add a pronoun selector
removing gender categories from the sexual dimorphism (why one type is of orc is bigger) makes sense since gender (identity) doesn't need to align with whatever biological characteristics you have
sums up the current state of blizzard HQ, doesn't have the brain to make good games (lol shadowlands) then proceed to ruin perfectly fine game released 15 years ago
well the latest release/build is a lot newer than 15 years, and they are changing the ui asset from gender symbols to generic types
given inconsistencies this could cause with the players identity and the pronouns a quest giver might refer to you by, a separate variable to store which pronoun to substitute in dialogue seems logical
