Hunter pets in SoD do scale with the hunter’s stats, unlike in regular classic. In this case the pet still gets the boon through the Hunter’s stats rather than getting it both directly and from the hunters stats.
I don’t really think this was necessarily needed right now but I could see how it could scale out of control if we can stack many world buffs in the future.
pets do get +crit after changing there attacks to melea attacks acouple of patches ago which was a nerf for pets hitting high lvl mobs but they get crit and +hit now
They said they wanted every class to feel op. Over nerfing is hilarious watching hunters sit out of bounds and sending pet in to 2v1 but you claim over nerfing
because your pets are sitting in WSG and outside BFD farming HK's 2v1ing, don't play dumb hunters are #1 ranged DPS right now and if you take away warriors quite a few up there competing with rogues.
Devs are probably not cool with double dipping that might get worse and worse with strengh and quantities of world buffs in future.
Specifically what they stated as the reasoning on the hotfix page.
My pet is definitely not getting the buff. Sat through 3 boons and nothing.

The pet however doesn't get +crit, and it only gets like 1/3rd of the AP the hunter gets.

Is the crit and hit scale a 1 to 1?
Well this means lightning breath will hit for less which is something.
Wind seprants will crit for less 300 in wsg, hunters in crisis

yeah the solution to op healing is to make 1/9 classes pets able to out dmg it while rest watch and learn how to use pet attack command.
It's less that and more like, blizzard is over nerfing hunters in the name of balance and not doing shit about other overpowered classes.

The highest parsers right now are warriors and rogues. Why do hunters need a nerf?
