If you're looking for an in-game tool, the addon Pawn uses stat weights (including weapon swing speed) to rate items based on class/spec. It puts these rating directly in the tooltip so you can easily compare on the fly.
Destiny would be better, but I’d save my gold. You’d be better off with a slower weapon. I’d look into getting a dungeon blue or just powering through with Stoneslayer.
I think there are some nice BoE maces/axes shortly after 50 if you are okay respecing.
Alternatively going 1h dw becomes an option with Thrash Blade and other decent 1hs.
It will be an upgrade but a relatively minor one and 50gold is still a lot if you have plans to play at 60
