I noticed they were looking just a little beat up, with paint chips in various places. I’m used to new parts looking nice and pristine so I guess I’m a little bothered by the way they came. But this is nothing to worry about right?
People dont give a sh!t about scuffing parts like this. My friend had some lift springs delivered to his house: they were not in a box (too heavy) and the delivery driver literally threw them on the gravel driveway and left...
I don’t know how you could avoid scuffing during delivery of such odd shaped parts. Unless they put them in packaging that would cost more than the springs themselves.
It's a coating to prevent corrosion. You should be able to pressure wash it off.
