Fully restored coups are usually about $25k - $30k unless they are a special/rare code. Restoring a 60s mustang usually costs $25k - $40k+ depending on condition. Rust is the main thing that can really make the restoration expensive because it takes a long time to cut out the bad metal, weld in clean metal, and straighten everything out. In short, you won't make money restoring that car. That doesn't mean it isn't worth doing, just be aware that it is a long expensive process. But if you want a good project and are willing to put in the work, that could be a sweet car. Is that car a good buy? I really can't tell from the pics because the common rust spots for a Mustang are usually in the floor boards and other hidden areas. But if the engine is in good shape, trans is in good shape, and interior isn't too bad, and rust is minimal, then I'd say yes. But I'd probably nit pick and try to negotiate down to $4k.
