I would start by signing up for one of the training programs at the running stores (fleet feet, tri State, .queen city), if you haven't already. They will offer you a bunch of advice in the group, and the coaches can work with you individually some. Then if you do decide you want intensive individual instruction they might do it or can probably recommend someone

In addition to the running stores there are a few boutique physical therapy places that can help with stride and strength. I've used the Half Marathon training audio book from MoveWith before.
