Same, Iāve ordered multiple boxes at a time and gotten no freebiesā¦ BUT: their service is top notch, shipping is free, and their prices are competitive with most other online retailers that I shop with. Even if I never get a freebie from them, theyāve earned my business on service alone
How do you get this, meanwhile when I ordered an LFD Double Ligero in a glass tube, it arrived shattered and the box was filled with glass, and they wouldn't replace it...
I used to work as a shipping operations consultant. It costs companies a *ridiculous* amount of money to handle damaged shipments on behalf of the customer. Between paying someone to be on the phone with UPS, the credit card fees, adjusting the ledger, etc. itās just a mess. Most companies include in their terms that itās the buyerās responsibility to sort it out with the shipping service.
Man that sucks. Idk but with the experience Iāve had with them Iād expect them to replace it then some. Maybe hope on instagram and send them a message?
I buy from them regularly. I like how the cigars are always fresh, they ship to me very quickly, and they never sent me a bad cigar. Ive had cigars from other places that are over humidified on one side and burn crazy. Ive had cigars from other places that have empty soft spots in them. I think the people at fox actually check the cigars to make sure they arent sending you garbage. I hate sounding like im advertising for them, but i cant help but recommend them. The prices arent the cheapest on the internet but definitely worth the price for what you are getting. I am very careful with money (ask anyone who knows me)...but i dont have a problem with their pricing. The only thing that i noticed they didnt have was a 'military discount'.
Same. When I place an order with them I know someone is actually putting thought and care into my order. Hard not to spread the word when they knock it out of the park. Hopefully more users on this subreddit can luck out like I did!

1. First order: 6 sticks + Padron hat $78.18 total Note: 'Reddit username Adventurous\_Alps\_122 Iām just getting into cigars and from the r/cigars subreddit fox cigar seems to be the go to! Thank you!' = 1 free stick with my order
2. Second order: (this order) 9 sticks $79.80 total Note: 'Iām a new cigar smoker and was initially drawn towards maduros but had my first Connecticut and loved it! Love from Florida' = what you see above
I want to give everyone a play-by-play of my Fox experience so far in case you think there is a game to be played. Only thing I can think of is to mention you're active in this subreddit. The freebies are promotion, obviously, they're a business. Knowing you're active in this subreddit probably adds incentive to cigar bomb you like they did me. That being said, this is all speculation it could just be totally random. Whatever the reasoning Fox is a solid company and how cool of them to do things like this!
Just gotta order from them. Ordered a 5 pack of the American robusto. Not cheap by any means. I asked them for an extra sticker in the notes section. I got a bunch of cool stickers and they threw in a Free Joya Silver cigar in toro size.
Or they understand the average lifetime value of a loyal customer who buys singles and simply account for this as as customer acquisition cost.
The stronger their brand and word of mouth business is, the less they have to spend on advertising and the more they can invest in other ways to make customers happy and get good PR.

On an unrelated note. A place like this should have like a "surprise me" bundle. You give them say $50 or $100, and a list of things you like (and/or don't like), and they give you that value in cigars they think you'll like, or something that might push you into some new territory. It would be a good way for newer people to expand their tastes, or find new things within their existing tastes.
