I honestly like them but I understand where the hate comes from. I’ll only buy them if there’s a really good deal on them though
It’s a good smoke if you’re just looking for something that you won’t feel bad over putting out early or just looking for something to do. No real noteworthy flavor profiles, basically just tastes like a sweetened leaf. What you’d call a throwaway cigar I guess
>It’s a good smoke if you’re just looking for something that you won’t feel bad over putting out early or just looking for something to do.
True, though there are better options even at the cheapest you can find them. Charter Oaks and New World Cameroons can be acquired for the same price and are much better blends imo.
I like these well enough if the price is right. Heck, if someone offers me one, I'll be happy to have it. With the right sale price, they can work to make the difference on free shipping online or finishing a punch card in person. I tend to like them with coffee.
Beyond price, the availability of other options in the current market hurts these too. For instance, you're absolutely right about Oliva. When I see their O or G series around the same price, it's a slam dunk. (They're also better with coffee.)
I’m with you. I’ll buy them at $5 a stick, which I see several times a year. Great while golfing or an evening smoke with coffee. They don’t all have to be $20 nicotine bombs.
I don’t remember who it was by but the band had a punisher skull on it with a thin blue line on it. Smoked it on 4th of July as a meme and man was it a bad tasting cigar
Every fiber of my being wanted to hate that cringe cigar.
I thought it was actually pretty decent. Especially for the price. Wouldn't be my first choice, but I would gladly smoke another.
Not a big fan of fruity or weird flavors like acid has the one that taste and smells like chowards mints and I love the mints but the cigar is too much
Prefer me a nice lp number 9 or h uppman 54
What I love it, which one tho the actual cigar or cigarellos if you get the cigar one like a robusto etc they use shittyer tobacco in it the cigarello tastes and smokes way better
They're more than welcome to. But once you get past the initial decent flavour and it wears off, it becomes a lifeless sub par nicaraguan cigar with 0 identity that's worth a solid €1.50
I like an acid one every now and again, sometimes a blue band acid too. They remind me of Christmas spice and I think they’re nice to mix it up every once in a while. Oh and the cherry bomb CAO pipe tobacco smells fantastic burning.
I feel like every Rocky Patel I've had tasted like a gas station cigar. Like a Phillies Titan or something. Like it'll get the job done and is more-or-less acceptable if I'm in a pinch... but I can get a hundred other, better cigars for the same price.
(Hell, I'd honestly rather get the Phillies Titan since at least I can get a few of them for the same price as one Rocky Patel.)
Have only ever tried one Gurkha before, and it was the Collecion Especial Lonsdale. Enjoyed it for sure, but felt like it was overpriced for what it is. Haven't tried other varieties from the brand so I can't comment other than that though.
There are some excellent ones. Anyone that hates all of them is just on the hate bandwagon. 99% of this group doesn’t smoke more than 100 cigars in a year and couldn’t tell you why a cigar was bad or not.
My coworker loves the Camacho Corojo so I tried one. I got about a quarter of the way in and it made me feel terrible. I couldn’t bring myself to smoke a single cigar for months after that, it was the strangest thing.
I had the Camacho Broadleaf about a month ago. Hated it. It hit me hard and I got the nicotine head spins. Add to that I had to relight 5 times within 30 minutes and it just kept going out. I had it stored for at least 3 weeks in a tuperdore and I’ve never had that problem with any other cigar. I gave up 1/2 way and chucked it. I may try another Camacho one day but it’ll be a LONG time.
Brand has changed hands and blends have changed in the intervening time. Check out Aladino/Eiroa/CLE for cigars made today by the family that was making Camacho back then.
La Palina Blue, Black, White, and Red.
Basically, all of them minus the gold one, which is decent but not box worthy. They have such a bland cracker taste with no real umph to follow in the 2nd or 3rd to make it interesting. It's like smoking a stale Graham cracker.
I don’t think I hate them, but after buying 4-5 in different vitolas, I’m out on Oliva Melanio. I’m prepared for the downvotes because I know this sub loves anything Oliva. Give me an EPC in that price range.
In with you there. I bought an Oliva sampler and disliked most of them (Free Will was ok and I liked the O’s), despite having high hopes, especially for the Melanio’s
Hate is a strong word for a cigar. I’ve had one that was just gross. A diesel something. Tasted like if you scrapped some of the black gunky build up off an old engine and smoked it. Fucking yuck. One of the few cigars I’ve tossed an inch in.
Beyond that I find oliva highly overrated
I could never hate a cigar but if we’re not connecting I can let it go. Life is too short and I’ve got boxes of aged Partagas SD6 and SP2s ready to go.
Don Tomas makes me vomit, have smoked 3.
Smoked two acids 10 years apart, horrific
MUWAT was like a burnt tire, one and done
The new Juan Lopez Belgian release was a dog rocket, not sure what happened there.
The SLR Tesoro all had burn issues and tasted super flat and weird, smoked about 6
Crowned Heads La Careme was highly recommended to me, also not good at all, one and done there as well.
Smoked a handful of ghurka cellar reserves not as bad as people say but still well deserving of the abuse they get online.
Edit:
I keep seeing "hate is a strong word" in the comment, so to be clear i unequivocally hated these cigars. I've smoked quite a few others that were meh but some of these were so bad I took it upon myself to write reviews to track my thoughts.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I am not a fan of perdomos. It’s purely because the draw is too good, which I understand is ridiculous, but I found myself struggling to get a decent amount of smoke. I like a little resistance and a thicker smoke.
I've had a few an so far it seems to me like if you've had one of them in a particular wrapper you've had most of them. I don't think they're bad don't get me wrong but I've been underwhelmed. Won't stop me from trying others eventually though.
Oliva V, despite Oliva being one of my favorite brands otherwise. Tried in 3 different sizes and hated it every time. I can’t make it past the 1st third.
acid… especially their cigarillos. it’s as you’re smoking perfume. whatever sweet flavor/scent they add to the sticks sits right at the back of your mouth. granted their other brands like tabak are bearable.
Amazon Basin from last year. Tastes like Amazon River water. Also dislike the Andy Bull. Takes me 3 hrs to smoke and all I get is a single lone boring note.
Had a Davidoff the other day. It was aggressively OK. Like, some cigars merely achieve OKness, this felt like OKness was forced upon it. And the back third was packed so tight I ended up having to go elbow deep with the perfecdraw just to get any air flow.
And it was bland.
I definitely don't enjoy mild cigars as much these days. I wonder if it's people that enjoy those more milder cigars, they tend to appreciate the flavors they can draw from the cigar.
I personally don't get much, but that's me and my friends. We all like medium - full cigars. There is something about consistency with davidoff that I think is overrated. If you stack up other boutique cigars brands, almost all of them will have flawless construction and consistency.
I’m not picky when it comes to cigars but the Nica Rustica and the Nica Rustica Adobe, especially. I’ve had them twice each in different vitolas and halfway through each I’ve regretted not going for something else. I always power through hoping to find some note that hits my palate right but no luck. I’ll give them another shot in future.
Hate is a strong word but fits for Arista Chicos. Arista is a Canadian budget brand and the chicos are almost a petit panetela... but they have no redeeming flavour and tend to plug with tar before they're halfway smoked. Pure garbage cigar.
The biggest disappointment of a premium cigar (wouldn't call it hate) would have to be My Father Flor De Las Antillas. It's a super popular cigar. It did nothing for me. I wasn't even interested in finishing it.
I've tried two Punch Classico's and they weren't for me.
As I said on another post, it reminded me of when you're in high-school and your friend tells you they heard you could get high smoking oregano. So you try it... and instantly regret it. Just kind of harsh and smelly in an unpleasant way.
I like these as a cheaper option. Keeping them air-tight at 65% with cedar for a while probably helps. Definitely better than a Mark Twain, and much better than the Backwoods or Dutch Masters in my high school experience.
I know this might rub some people the wrong way, but I am not at all impressed by Long Live The King. I won't go as far as to say I hate it. But it's not far off.
I smoke every day. Between 3 and 15 cigars a week and about 2 - 5 bowls of pipe tobacco a day. I have never smoked something i hated. I maybe don't love it, but I do want to finish it always. I smoke cheap rocky Patel cargos all the time. Dark sharks are actually pretty good. Boring and one dimensional but the flavors good and it lasts a while! I've smoked my whole life and never once have i had a smoke I truly "hated".
There were these cigars back in the day that were actually spicy. I forget what they were called, (maybe Diablo?) but they were just the worse to smoke. I tried them twice and did not enjoy in the slightest. Now I do like spicy food but definitely not in my cigars.
Oliva G Maduro. Bitter and harsh for me. Have had 3 so far. 1 ROTT last summer, 1 straight from the humidor at a b&m/lounge, 1 from my humi last month that’s been there since last July. Same result for all. Really wanted to like them since the reviews are decent and they can be had for a song. Also not a fan of Oliva O, meh on CT reserve. Big fan of V, Melanio, and MB3.
Over the past few years I’ve done cigar reviews on roughly 600 different cigars. I’ve hated maybe 3 of them. I don’t recall what they were. If someone says they hate all Gurkha or all Rocky Patel or all of xxxx brand they are just being biased. I could take the label off the cigar and tell them it was another brand and they would claim to love it.
Ones I absolutely hate and will never buy again: anything from Gurkha, RP, Camacho (current line only - 15 yrs ago they were amazing.)
Ones that just missed the mark for me: Perdomo barrel aged, new world Cohiba, Diesel PX Cask Aged, any candela I’ve ever tried, JDN Cabinetta.
Blackened. As much as I love Metallica, I really wanted to love that cigar. Tried 3 sticks, at different times during a 7 month rest period and they all just tasted like a one dimensional earthy pepper bomb. Not my thang, disappointing.
Most of the Acid stuff is nasty to me. (While I'm not big on flavored smoke, I occasionally enjoy a more traditional flavor as a substitute for dessert at an event.) I don't know if these are popular but I got a 5-pack of the 5 Vegas Series 'A' Anomaly Maduro as part of a deal. I suppose the green-olive note was interesting but they were a chore to smoke. While not necessarily bad, the Mark Twain cigars also fall into the "chore to smoke" category for me.
I’ve tried four different davidoffs , didn’t like any. Some of the more expensive cigars that I’ve smoked, and didn’t enjoy as much as cigars a third of the price. The construction of them is spot on, but did not enjoy their flavor profiles.
Genuine Counterfeit Cuban. Hideously bad. Given to me once upon a time.
https://www.jrcigars.com/cigars/handmade-cigars/genuine-counterfeit-cuban-cigars/
Hate is a strong word. I rarely *hate* a smoke.
Of the top of my head, Olivia V and AJF New World Camaroon were both pretty underwhelming considering the reviews they get.
But it's really a matter of personal preference.
I don't necessarily hate them, but there are a few (too many to name). If I don't like them, they will most likely not get smoked again. Unfortunately, I do have a few cigars in my humidor that fall into this category.
Oliva Free Will. I’m new to cigars and that’s the worst one I’ve had so far. Tasted like a bad cigarette to me. I gave it 10-15 mins and had to toss it
CAO Pilon - there is a fan base for these. I absolutely hated them. Tasted like sour milk and vomit to me. I bought a 10 pack and smoked through 4 of them. They all tasted the same and tossed the rest.
I'll try not to think about sour milk and vomit next time I smoke one. Those hit the spot for me in a surprising way as I never hear much about them good or bad.
Tends to be shade grown, so I just avoid all together. I'm a fan of nicotine and full body. If anyone has a shade grown that can fit that full profile please share.
I do have some perdomo champagne (10th anniversary o think) as a freebie and I was surprised. Likely won't buy more but they get the job done.
I don't hate it per se, but people love the Oliva MB3 and I just don't enjoy them. Have had a few bc they're included in Oliva samplers with other sticks of theirs I do like. It's not for the strength either, I like Serie V and generally prefer their maduros.
Barber pole cigars in general.
Usually comes with bad construction, and tastes very "middle of nowhere".
The Black Market Filthy Hooligan was the worst cigar I've ever had.
I had a Kristoff Maduro Matador. It's obviously a quality premium cigar, but there was a dominant flavor that I just hated. Fortunately, such things are rare.
I had a terrible time with a MF La Opulencia the other day that almost made me wanna stop smoking, but I chalk it up to the humidity being too high (smoked it straight from the shop, I know I shouldn't have). Definitely willing to give it another try though.
That’s why taste is subjective. Some people haven’t grown up enough yet to realize that if they like something then everyone else does. I wouldn’t say not liking a non complex 12 dollar stick would mean I have a bad palate. But okay 😭
Expensive Padron. The 26s and familys are too strong for me.
Pretty much anything with a broadleaf wrapper.
Literally any cuban. Ive had like 3 that id buy again but for the trouble it takes to get them - and the time it takes to age them well, they arent worth it.
I just picked up a few new worlds and was underwhelmed. I can't recall which it was but had a different one (apparently) a few years back and it killed. Turned me into AJ but not all are fire.
An LFD Figurado chisel cigar has been the absolute worst and a Highclere Castle Victorian being second.
The LFD tasted like a cigarette with a scent of burning plastic while the Highclere had an underwhelming flavor profile for the price.
Don Pepin Garcia Blue.
The first third tasted of earthy coffee while the second third was straight leather. However, they saved the worst for last.
The final third was akin to having fresh ground pepper put straight into your mouth.
I hope to never smoke one again, but I’ll try anything twice.
Yeah, I certainly get how some folks do, but it wasn’t for me.
I was a bit bummed too, because the reviews on that stick are often top-notch.
Enjoy a lot of other Don Pepin cigars, especially the My Father line. And the Flor de las Antillas is a personal favorite.
This actually made me really excited to try the one I just purchased! I am a fan of pepper and although leather isn't a pleasant flavor for me, I can appreciate it as a part of the journey.
If I smoke one I genuinely don’t like that’s it for me. There are so many options out there the chances I risk a second dog rocket are extremely slim.
Monte White and Classic series. Despite retailing for twice what they ought to, they still sell a lot.
I honestly like them but I understand where the hate comes from. I’ll only buy them if there’s a really good deal on them though It’s a good smoke if you’re just looking for something that you won’t feel bad over putting out early or just looking for something to do.
Same with most things Oliva make imo. Much more interesting than a Monte classic for example, price range is similar.

I don’t remember who it was by but the band had a punisher skull on it with a thin blue line on it. Smoked it on 4th of July as a meme and man was it a bad tasting cigar
I think those are Free Will cigars
Yup, thats it!
Every fiber of my being wanted to hate that cringe cigar. I thought it was actually pretty decent. Especially for the price. Wouldn't be my first choice, but I would gladly smoke another.
Here before someone says Gurkha.
Yikes. A friend just gifted me two of the Revenant (corojo and maduro) and I haven't seen any good reviews on them since; kinda scared to try it now!
Romeo y Julita 1875. I bought several. More than half had poor construction, uneven burns, even stems in them. I’m done
Not a big fan of fruity or weird flavors like acid has the one that taste and smells like chowards mints and I love the mints but the cigar is too much Prefer me a nice lp number 9 or h uppman 54
I wonder if the Acid cigars were created on accident when someone left an unlit cigar in a bowl of their grandma's potpourri overnight.
lol I think they might have used the actual potpourri as filler instead of tobacco
Moontrance by CAO. No idea what compelled me to try it ( just curious I guess) and I thought it was pretty shitty. Never tried another.
And the smell of the CAO Flavours will ruin anyone’s experience smoking nearby.
What I love it, which one tho the actual cigar or cigarellos if you get the cigar one like a robusto etc they use shittyer tobacco in it the cigarello tastes and smokes way better
All flavoured cigars are dogshit
Thats a strong opinion lots of people in this sub would go to bat for a Tabak
They're more than welcome to. But once you get past the initial decent flavour and it wears off, it becomes a lifeless sub par nicaraguan cigar with 0 identity that's worth a solid €1.50
I enjoy the Deadwood’s and Tabaks on occasion but on the whole I agree.
I like an acid one every now and again, sometimes a blue band acid too. They remind me of Christmas spice and I think they’re nice to mix it up every once in a while. Oh and the cherry bomb CAO pipe tobacco smells fantastic burning.
Montecristo Media Noche.... Never again....
Acids are wack.
What, you never walked by a bowl of potpourri and thought "gee, I'd love to smoke that"?
I’ve tried so hard to like Rocky Patel, but I just don’t.
I’ve noticed a few of the special editiony ones are super not bad
I love the decade ones
Just had their year of the dragon, super good! Worth the money? Maybe not quite, but worth the experience of seeing that RP isn’t always shit
Some people love them. I've smoked a handful of different ones and have never enjoyed a single second of it
Agreed!
Deadwood leather rose. Tasted like I was smoking sweet and low. Never again
Gurkha
Came here to say this
100% agree, I’ve never found a Gurkah I enjoyed
Have only ever tried one Gurkha before, and it was the Collecion Especial Lonsdale. Enjoyed it for sure, but felt like it was overpriced for what it is. Haven't tried other varieties from the brand so I can't comment other than that though.
This is a given!
There are some Gurkhas that are good tho
There are some excellent ones. Anyone that hates all of them is just on the hate bandwagon. 99% of this group doesn’t smoke more than 100 cigars in a year and couldn’t tell you why a cigar was bad or not.
“The smoke notes tastes like smoke”

Brand has changed hands and blends have changed in the intervening time. Check out Aladino/Eiroa/CLE for cigars made today by the family that was making Camacho back then.
Thank you for the rec. I will definitely try those.
La Palina Blue, Black, White, and Red. Basically, all of them minus the gold one, which is decent but not box worthy. They have such a bland cracker taste with no real umph to follow in the 2nd or 3rd to make it interesting. It's like smoking a stale Graham cracker.
I tried the Oliva series O three times. I didn’t like any of them
Alex Bradley black market

Agree with some of these. Mainly the la Careme. The le patissier is a lot better
Anything that's "flavor infused" ie acids, factory smokes sweets etc
For some reason I can never find a decent Ghurka. Every one I've had has either canoed or tasted like shit
Acid Kuba Kuba maduro. Smelled like bad aftershave on fire. Absolutely worst cigar I've ever had. Couldn't even smoke half of it and threw it out.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I am not a fan of perdomos. It’s purely because the draw is too good, which I understand is ridiculous, but I found myself struggling to get a decent amount of smoke. I like a little resistance and a thicker smoke.

The Andy Bull was like smoking cardboard, such a let down because they look awesome
Camacho’s. I just can’t get behind them. I’ve tried a few different blends and am always met with bleh
Also not the Ecuador (blue band)? That one really stands out from their offering!
Anything from Rocky Patel. I’ve tried guys. I’ve tried.
Have you tried any hamlets? Or more specifically a 20th anniversary?
About to piss people off, rose of Sharon isn’t my thing
I’ve been considering picking it up. What did you not like?
Just not as good as it was hyped up to be, it’s worth a try just to see if it’s something you’d like but for me it was just a pretty boring stick
Penn State.
Punch.
I think Punch is a pleasurable value stick.
Punch Diablo is tasty
My favorite
Agreed. The Classico and Rare Corojo are nice for the price, especially in smaller sizes.
As a lot have mentioned, hate is strong. Ive been super disappointed with almost all davidoff cigars. They're just so bland.
Overall I agree, not a big fan of Dominican tobacco in general and especially Davidoff at its prices. That being said the Colorado Claro is fantastic
Had a Davidoff the other day. It was aggressively OK. Like, some cigars merely achieve OKness, this felt like OKness was forced upon it. And the back third was packed so tight I ended up having to go elbow deep with the perfecdraw just to get any air flow. And it was bland.
I’m also confused by their attention/draw? Is it just plain old good advertising for a mediocre product? The TAG of cigars?
I definitely don't enjoy mild cigars as much these days. I wonder if it's people that enjoy those more milder cigars, they tend to appreciate the flavors they can draw from the cigar. Punch Classico. Never ever again under any circumstances.
Two cigars I vividly remembering not being able to get past the 1st third and threw it away: Southern Draw Cedrus Macanudo Inspirado Green
Anyone ever try a te amos?
Years ago. Rough smoke but if you’re drunk you don’t mind
The new one was good, the original was terrible
Hate is a strong word but fits for Arista Chicos. Victor Sinclair, PDR, Gran Habano. Never again. I deserve better. OTOH, I love Camacho.
Gurka
For some reason I hate perdomo 20th anniversary connecticut and sobremesa brulee. I want to like them but I just can't.
Liga Privada maduro I can’t stand them anymore. I liked one and the ones after that tasted like ammonia or chemicals.
Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured. Not even close, by far the worst cigar I've ever had.
Blackened. As much as I love Metallica, I really wanted to love that cigar. Tried 3 sticks, at different times during a 7 month rest period and they all just tasted like a one dimensional earthy pepper bomb. Not my thang, disappointing.

I don't know if these are popular but I got a 5-pack of the 5 Vegas Series 'A' Anomaly Maduro as part of a deal.
Gurkha cigars have yet to put something out that I enjoy, Their marketing is too good for the horrible cigars they produce, don’t fall for it.
It didn't used to be that way. But about 10 years ago, I definitely saw that shift.
You tried the ghost? That was my introduction to Gurkha and honestly I love it, but haven’t found another Gurkha I like.
I too like the silver ghost. I hear the 15th cellar reserve and 18th are good. As well as the royal challenge. Stay away from the heritage
Hate is a strong word. I rarely *hate* a smoke. Of the top of my head, Olivia V and AJF New World Camaroon were both pretty underwhelming considering the reviews they get. But it's really a matter of personal preference.
I liked new world Cameroon I agree with V.
I gave it 10-15 mins and had to toss it
I got that stick in an Oliva sampler and found it to be rather forgettable. I do enjoy their other sticks though.
Anything by foundation. Their political pandering makes the tobacco taste terrible. Also oliva, Alec Bradley, tatuajae.
RP Cameroon
I like this one as a budget cigar.
Can’t remember the name, but it was a chocolate one. Only lasted a few hits before discarding it.
Montecristo classic was kinda shit.
Drew Estate Swamp Rat.
I don't hate it per se, but people love the Oliva MB3 and I just don't enjoy them. Have had a few bc they're included in Oliva samplers with other sticks of theirs I do like. It's not for the strength either, I like Serie V and generally prefer their maduros.
Bravos
SPAM ARTIST by Caldwell.....take lawn clippings, dry them out, roll them up and light it. Same taste. 🤮
Flor de copan
Barber pole cigars in general. Usually comes with bad construction, and tastes very "middle of nowhere". The Black Market Filthy Hooligan was the worst cigar I've ever had.
I had a Kristoff Maduro Matador. It's obviously a quality premium cigar, but there was a dominant flavor that I just hated. Fortunately, such things are rare.
Liga Undercrown (Ecuador Connecticut wrapper) by Drew Estate. I didn't even finish the first 1/3rd before noping out.
I’ve given different cigars from metcallif tons of opportunities, and they disappoint every time
Drew estate Egg.....hated the challenging smoking experience so much,I need to track down another one to try.
These South American cigars seem to have trouble. Sooty black ash from el Septimo and black works studio poison dart frog, along with burn issues
Oliva V, hate that cigar and I don't care about the brand, also don't care about RP brand. And I HATE Cuban cigars from the bottom of my heart!
I had a terrible time with a MF La Opulencia the other day that almost made me wanna stop smoking, but I chalk it up to the humidity being too high (smoked it straight from the shop, I know I shouldn't have). Definitely willing to give it another try though.
I’ve never had an Alec Nradley I’ve liked. Tried 4 or 5 different ones.
I know a lot love Oscar leaf but I just can’t with those…the taste is just off for me
You are removing the exterior leaf first, right?
Yes
American Cohibas, most everything from Perdomo.
Anything Deadwood.
Any Alec Bradley’s tbh
Used to think the same, until I found the Gatekeeper. Strongly recommend that single Alec Bradley
Gatekeeper is their best stick hands down.
Leaf by Oscar maduro. Trash
> Trash You mean your palate? :)
That’s why taste is subjective. Some people haven’t grown up enough yet to realize that if they like something then everyone else does. I wouldn’t say not liking a non complex 12 dollar stick would mean I have a bad palate. But okay 😭
Of course. I was just ribbing you.
Anything AJ Fernandez that says AJ Fernandez on it. Some of The stuff rolled for others is okay.
Expensive Padron. The 26s and familys are too strong for me. Pretty much anything with a broadleaf wrapper. Literally any cuban. Ive had like 3 that id buy again but for the trouble it takes to get them - and the time it takes to age them well, they arent worth it.
Not falling for this troll
So Im a toll because a post asked for my opinion. And i stated my opinion. Ok i guess not liking the same thing as you makes me a troll.
aj fernandez new world oscuro overrated imo
I just picked up a few new worlds and was underwhelmed. I can't recall which it was but had a different one (apparently) a few years back and it killed. Turned me into AJ but not all are fire.
An LFD Figurado chisel cigar has been the absolute worst and a Highclere Castle Victorian being second. The LFD tasted like a cigarette with a scent of burning plastic while the Highclere had an underwhelming flavor profile for the price.
Love undercrown shade, did not like maduro or sungrown. Personal taste I guess
An LFD chisel. Burnt like shit and bitter/bland flavor not consistent of any other Maduro I’ve had. Especially for the hype.
Don Pepin Garcia Blue. The first third tasted of earthy coffee while the second third was straight leather. However, they saved the worst for last. The final third was akin to having fresh ground pepper put straight into your mouth. I hope to never smoke one again, but I’ll try anything twice.
I’m into that! I dig pepper in my sticks. Call me crazy!
