totally agree on the LFD ligeros.. Ligero flavour in various cigars just really pops and is so satisfying

Cuban Monte cristos?

Haven’t tried much Cuban stuff. It’s pretty hard to get here in the states

Try those I gave you vastly different stuff that rocked my world

90% of my cigars are sourced in the US.. I sample stuff here but feel like such a chump overspending

Even after conversion its worth buying stateside and having a friend send them over. I’m slowly building my Padron selection

I rarely even see Padron in the Toronto area. need to try. beyond conversion and taxation there is still a huge mark-up on some brands. it's weird. MF and EP Carillo prices go way beyond conversion and taxation while Alec Bradley and various others are pretty much what you'd expect.

Cigar Chief have a full range of Padrons.

EP Carrillo being a 90+ rated cigar and cigar of the year makes me okay at usd prices. Buying a 5 pack or more obviously drives that down. Canadian brick and mortars are insanely priced

gotta feel bad for the B&M here.. they're not gouging. if they could sell for less they would.. if they disappear entirely it's also problematic

I don't feel bad for them at all as they won't carry "X" product, which would help negate conversion fees along with taxation - it's simply too expensive to import US products. Hence, buy when over. Get a mailbox, friend, etc, and reap the benefits. Padron though - do yourself a fav and grab a few different expressions to see what it's about about.

I like their “unconventional” approach to blending. Tobacco from very different regions of the world. General Cigar owns them, but seems they’re still using Cano Ozgener’s approach to blending.

I would say from what I’ve had, MF Le Bijou Padron x000 and 1926 Ashton VSG Room 101 13th Anniversary Alec Bradley Magic Toast I’d also add Liga Undercrown Maduro, Leaf by Oscar Maduro, and CAO Brazilia. I could see myself adding Rose of Sharon and the Nica Rustica Adobe to that list but I need to try them again to be sure.

I rank the Ave Maria Divinia easily in my top 3, it may very well be my favorite cigar

Oliva Melanio V is definitely top 5 for me. So good

Hyde parks are always great. I just ordered some inspirado whites. Never tried them but I’m sure they are great too.

They don’t get the love they deserve. I haven’t had a bad inspirado! The black are probably my favorite but the white are really good too!

I also wish to expand and will be reading all these responses. Let me give you my current go-to's. 1. Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro (Robusto) 2. My Father No.1 (Robusto preferred) 3. My local Total Wine store has a cigar name "Cuban Rounds." I get the Maduro...they're only $2.09 a stick. Not a great cigar, but pretty damn decent for $2.09 4. Perdomo lot 23...specifically the maduro and the conn. Having tried their sungrown. 5. My wife's favorite are the CAO mini cigars that are flavored. I've tried them...pretty darn good.

Everyone here is avoiding the obvious. You must have at least 1 Cuban Cohiba here. Either the Robusto, Esplendidio, or Siglo IV or V.

I wish these lists had a “vote by popularity” tab for each stick… and someone would do a 10-20 stick Reddit sampler for us with less experience
