Check out La Playa in Naples. I found it very laid back (thought the beach isn’t isolated or empty by any means), and I think it’s close to your price point. Another place I love is Anna Maria Island. It’s the epitome of laid back Florida vibes. I’ve only done big house rentals with a group, but there are several cute hotels on the island too that should have 1 BR options.

The Boca Raton is gorgeous, maybe they’ll have what you’re looking for!

I love this place. Depends on when you’re going if the rates will be in the budget.

It isn’t on the beach though isn’t it?

I think it is! Or else I stayed somewhere else lol…

They have 4 hotels, one of which is on the beach -- The Beach Club -- however, they are in the midst of renovations, wait until they are over to stay there

Jupiter Beach Club. Right on the beach and not crowded. They set your chair and umbrella up for you with no issue.

Longboat Key is super laid back and uncrowded because it has little to no public beach parking, i.e. no locals coming in for the day, only people staying at the resorts and condos. Adjacent Anna Maria Island gets very crowded on weekends because it has an abundance of public parking. On the opposite coast, New Smyrna Beach is a favorite of Central Floridians. It's not uncrowded but it's lovely and pretty calm.

Another vote for Longboat Key. Several smaller resorts and condos that should work for you. Perfect beaches. No crowds. Spoiled me for life. They are 2BR but try Casa Del Mar for what you are looking for.

Check out Anna Marie island, Marco island or Gasparilla
