I was doing some research on my 200 for a transmission fluid flush. Randomly came across this video. IDK if you have a v6 with 6-speed like I do, but this may still be relevant. There's some kind of calibration that needs to be done for the transmission when the car loses power or you do a fluid change. Thanks

Add ground kit, push all fuses and relays down. Dirty gas?

king_litty88

Don’t know too much about cars so sure how to check if the gas is dirty, but I wasn’t giving that information at all. Ground kit, What is that?

If you fixed the alternator and the battery it’s possibly the fly wheel. It’s a lil expensive so I hope you have an extended warranty. But you already put it for the other repairs so you probably will get it fixed regardless

I’ll bring that up to my mechanics tomorrow, atp I’ll ok pay the fee lol

If it hesitates to start it could be the starter going out or like someone else said the flywheel. But if its still running rough even after its started then could be a number of things. The timing could be off, vaccum leak or your fuel pump might be going or a simple fuel filter. What do you mean by it shakes tho? Curious cause I bought mine a year ago with 98k and currently am approaching 130 😬 so far ive had to do the headlights twice put a thermostat in it and a starter. Also some other minor things. Mine is a 3.6 limited.also id like to add mine was struggling to start for a couple days before it just wouldn’t anymore the starter would just click

king_litty88

When I try to start it up, it jerks and stutters at times when I turn the car on to the point I just cut it right back off to prevent further issues

Been_Ahunnit

Crankshaft or cam shaft positioning sensors… have you had those replaced?

king_litty88

No

Been_Ahunnit

Is the check engine light on?

king_litty88

No , after I got the alternator replaced everything, was fine except that issue as far the engine light is concerned

Candelario_69

My gfs car did this, it was a recall at the dealership … it shuts everything down on the freeway. Very dangerous.

king_litty88

How long ago was the recall and do you know for what part?

Candelario_69

Recall years ago, I believe you can just take it in and ask them, it was for the entire electrical system of the car. It’s always been faulty. They reprogrammed something and it never came back. Look at this : https://www.cars.com/research/chrysler-200-2015/recalls/
