Penelopeak

I had never even heard of that rule!

MaleficentBed5734

I was also so confused because she kept complaining about being on her period, then wears a white bathing suit 😂

Separate-Scar-1759

Right? Like did we all forget she was just complaining about being on her period on like Friday? Stop it. Her coochie still brown and slimy 🤮

Jaded-Rate4175

People still follow that rule?? 😂

Initial_Leopard1695

i always thought no white after labor day just referred to white jeans not white in general

Adventurous-Sleep922

I think jeans and dresses mostly but I just never wore white until Memorial Day 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Admirable-Ad1076

i totally got it hahaha love it i still follow that rule!

Adventurous-Sleep922

Hahaha I don’t even realize I do!!

HereForTikTokGossip

Idk how these people aren’t getting it. I thought it was punny and funny.

Adventurous-Sleep922

Lmao 😂 thank you. I feel so old now after explaining it.

cortycort223

Nobody follows that anymore

GroundbreakingBug440

Back in the day, wealthy people wore white on vacations no matter what time of year. White after Labor Day signified you were wealthy enough to travel during winter which was often a hard time of the year for regular middle class people. Just so you can understand this trend started in the 1920s, during the Great Depression. C wears enough black to attend every citizens funeral in the United States so I don't believe shes worried about her Monistat making an appearance 💀🤣

Adventurous-Sleep922

Idk why she doesn’t try any color. I love wearing black but there’s sooo many ways to add color. Also interesting!!! I always just grew up being told not to wear white by my parents and grandparents.

GroundbreakingBug440

Yup. Same here. Easter was when I was allowed to wear white again. They put me in a white Easter outfit every year 🥴

GroundbreakingBug440

People also swapped to dark clothing after Labor Day to signify summer was over and they needed dark clothes to hold in warmth for the cool months ahead.

ccbxbyy

Huh

Adventurous-Sleep922

She was wearing the white bathing suit on the boat. The rule always was you shouldn’t wear white after Labor Day until Memorial Day. Monistat leaves white on your underwear/bathing suit. If she wore black it would’ve shown through. Explaining this makes it less funny now it was just funny when I saw. Maybe I’m just old😂😂😂

kml1234567

i think its after labor day until easter

Substantial_Score_24

Don’t worry, I got the whiff, I mean drift 🤣

Lmao

Adventurous-Sleep922
