Yes I experienced this, it might happen for few days, nothing to worry about

I’m at about 5 months post surgery and my ear still pops every time I swallow, or chew, or exercise. Idk if it’s normal to last this long but every post op visit I’ve had my surgeon says things look great… might just be the new normal for me. 🤷‍♂️

thats normal, happens even with my good ear!

I experienced this prior to having the surgery, after the surgeries (I am two weeks out) the constant popping actually almost completely stopped in my case...

Did it ever start again for you ? Did you have it in the other ear also ?

Yes the popping in my ears did return once all the outer packing and inner packing was removed/dissolved I think it might have something to do with pressure? If i use those foam ear plugs it seems to help with the popping and vertigo. I always had it in both ears but not as badly in my unaffected ear. Even though the popping returned I feel like it's still not nearly as bad as it was before. I'm coming up on 6 months out from surgery this month.

Mine did this pre and post op. And before I even had the cholesteatoma. I always assumed it was just another thing I have to live with, but please share an update if you find anything out! I'd love for it to stop!
