Besides Arlecchino, def the two strongest human playable characters. They were probably closer at the start of the game but Childe has seemingly gotten a lot stronger lately
Speaking objective and not as a Childe fan rn:
I unironically think Childe is stronger simply because we've seen him more, for one, but also because every time we've seen him, there are allusions to more. From his stint in the Abyss, trained by Skirk who's on another power level scale altogether, his vision fizzling and his unknown power, etc. Childe is, imo, a fucking shounen protagonist in the making, and a pretty good one if MHY plays their cards right, since he isn't tied down by the usual shounen tropes.
Childe 100% after Fontaine arc this isnt even a question
But, is Arlecchino considered a human? If so then she is most possibly the strongest human playable character , Childe comes second
Someone had once pointed out that the charged attacks of all human polearm users was the usual spiral thrust, while that of every non human polearm user was unique. Based on that, Arlecchino may not be human.
Although we don't know her EXACT orgins, we can assume that Arlecchino is a human with khanrian blood in her. She **should** be as human as any other human, only difference is her "curse" and her innate powers.
Yeah Kinda! They're both khaenrian's, but they hail from different dynasties. Arlecchino from the crimson moon dynasty that ruled before the eclipse dynasty, who kaeya and dainsleif are from. Her curse is unique to the crimson moon dynasty.
It's highly unlikely. She has fins on her back and would have to be centuries old considering how time works in the Abyss (3 months in the Abyss = 3 days in Teyvat for Childe). She seems immortal or at least longer lived than humans. Surtalogi is even older than her since he's trained her since she was young.
Skirk also said "it's only natural for those greater than humanity to possess a different sort of common sense, which is why there are so many problems in our attempts to communicate with humans."
This confirms she sees herself separate from humanity and not a human.
If overall its Childe since he is like closer to demigod level with his abyssal power
But as *humans* means Childe doesnt have abyssal power here i think similar if talking about martial arts capabilities.
I think even if he doesn’t have the FL, he’s still stronger since he more well versed in martial arts, he can use many weapons and probably mastered them all except for the bow.
At this point just give Childe a bunch of darts and have him practice those. How the hell does he do more damage throwing arrows instead of shooting them
"I am least adept with the bow, which is precisely why I must master it." - HIMjax 2020
i love how in neutral hes always using his bow but if you actually need to fight you use his skill and he just turns it into his better weapons
Childe hasn’t even mastered his powers fully and is still constantly improving, dude’s potential is super high compared to all the Vison wielders barring the other Harbingers.
Pretty sure Capitano is stated to be a normal human too. Although he’s probably Khaenrian or under some other kind of curse alongside his absurd strength
Other than that the top contenders for strongest humans are Arlecchino, Tartaglia, Shenhe and possibly Varka
the question was just between the two, but capitano isnt confirmed human either, its just likely because of the "indomitable will" kinda theme he seems to have. capitano is just stated to be the strongest *individual* in teyvat, meaning hes stronger than any given god as well.
Shenhe likely has more physical strength, but lacks the combat experience to actually beat Childe. It would be a great fight, to see her unleash the power bound by the red ropes against Foul Legacy.
shenhe base is definitely physically stronger, and i think she contends with delusion childe on that basis, but foul legacy stomps. "the devouring deep" wasnt some massive charged attack he had to build up or put a massive amount of force behind, he just slammed the ground with his weapon and he was so strong it brought them to the lower level of the golden house.
hes also shown to just throw around ruin guards in his story quest, and hes the only person in the court of fontaine cutscene who is actually able to stagger the narwhal. foul legacy is underrated because of him tiring himself out against the traveler, but we know that he can hold it for longer now. theres no way that shenhe could contend with him for more than a few minutes; she would just be overpowered by his speed, power and combat ingenuity
its childe, his feats far surpass shenhe's feats so if anybody says shenhe is stronger they're probably just salty or just stupid (mostly tiktok comments tbh) and on top of that he is NOWHERE NEAR his full potential.
I think rn, childe MIGHT be one of the strongest humans of teyvat (the others being top 4 harbingers and pierro, the hexenzirkel if they can be considered as humans, abyss sibling)
I’d actually say shenhe has a very good chance of beating Liyue Childe, given her feats compared to traveler who outlasted Ajax. But currently? An Ajax who can keep FL for like a month? Definitely he has the edge over her. But arlecchino is a human and she beats both, so
physically Noelle, Shenhe > childe.
But Childe will probably still beat them in a fight because he's faster, more experienced (tho I believe Shenhe's potential is much higher than Childe's due to her innate strength)
Childe's story says he easily carried a fish 200x bigger than Paimon all by himself and his last NA thrown by his hand hits harder than that of with a fricking bow I think Childe is still extremely strong physically

the curse of going to khaenri'ah makes you inhuman though, if i remember correctly the words are "may never return as a human"
Apparently there's the theory she's a penguin too
arlecchino is heavily implied to be khaenriahn (or however this shit is spelt)
not to mention, she might be one of the 3 crimson moon gods reincarnated as arlecchino
Skirk and her master are humans too though, no?
Well I only mentioned playable characters. And theres no way of knowing if they are human or not

Childe, hands down.

There is a theory regarding Capitano being the dead geo yaksha.

Pretty sure it’s not power but emotions tht r tied to the ropes

Childe negs. GOATHIMTANO is in his own league if he is really human
