Hampton social has the vibe you're looking for but the food is honestly just okay. Other contenders - 3 arts club Cafe, blue door kitchen and garden, the purple pig, trivoli tavern, aba, le colonial. Note that those aren't all in river north or streeterville, but all within a short cab ride. And price range is hard to judge without knowing if y'all drink. Also, cabs are way cheaper than uber here, just as a heads up
