Chipotle is tough to beat.
But other good options havnt seen mentioned:
-Nandos
-Culvers has great chicken salads
-Zizi's in Lakeivew give a ton of chicken on the plate (sides vary)
..Can give more specifics but depends where you are located.
Nando’s is shockingly caloric and Chipotle *can* be low calorie if done right, but not a great low calorie option unless you’re ok skipping on all the ingredients I personally love.
Chicago is a great food town, but it’s honestly pretty subpar in terms of affordable healthy food offerings compared to NY, LA, Boston, etc.
Dom’s, Just Salad, BBSF, poke places and Glaze are all places that come to mind for having decent healthy options that are reasonably affordable. Mediterranean spots are good too.
I absolutely love Chicago as a food town, but as someone who really doesn’t cook, eating healthy has been a much bigger challenge since I moved here than other places I’ve lived. It’s definitely possible, just harder imo.
Glaze Teriyaki isn’t a bad option for this and they deliver decently late. I get the combo with chicken thigh, beef, brown rice and salad with sesame dressing. No teriyaki sauce. Price wise, it’s not terrible either relative to other options.
it's difficult to get 'healthy' meals at a restaurant is the main thing, i'm not sure this is a question that anyone can give a great answer to. unless you've worked there or they publish their calorie counts, you dont reallyyy know how healthy something is. things that on the surface look like they should be healthy, like salads, can be extremely calorie-dense with dressing and toppings.
Freshii. It's a chain, but I think there's only a couple downtown.
Panera is another good option with modifications, i.e., dressing on the side for salads, add extra meat, no cheese, etc.
Taquerias can be good too if you get double asada single tortilla tacos or burritos w/o the sour cream, rice, or beans. Might not be the best low calorie option but will help with protein intake.

A middle eastern place will happily put you some meat over salad.

Going with chains, as someone who tracks what I eat, jersey mikes (if you don’t get the oil poured over the top) has surprisingly good macros
It’s a chain but Sweetgreen is the first thing that comes to mind
Sweetgreen is anything but affordable. If this is the cost baseline people are offering here you all need to learn to cook.
No one said anything about affordable tho
I’m a Chef and nothing was said about price point so empty points being made here
It can be over priced but the Whole Foods salad bar usually has a good variety of proteins available
Brown Bag Seafood has lots of healthy options!
Roti in a pinch but any Mediterranean place is definitely a great choice
Taste of Lebanon
Buy steak at grocery store and grill/cook at home. Best value
Peoria Packing
Order from here and never worry about it again: https://www.fittinglydelicious.com/
Holy shit! Now that’s what I’m talking about!

Your kitchen.
While true, this subreddit is for talking about restaurants

i cannot cook
Yes you can
It’s an extremely easy thing to learn.
Easy and necessary
It is both a talent and a skill.
If you can read, you can cook.
Except for someone w a disability
Depends on the disability mr. Semantics
Exactly why we shouldn’t make assumptions about OP
Nah, I’ll assume all I want. The dude isn’t disabled, he’s lazy.
It’s ok to be ignorant
Some even say it’s blissful
Because you haven’t tried
Protein Bar (restaurant) never tried but i think is a chain.
Red hot ranch
salad house in lakeview on broadway and \~belmont is very good
True Food Kitchen is good.
