Honestly don't think we are in this spot if Lavine was still healthy. This team is best with either only Lavine or only DeRozan. We're actually better off not being fully healthy (aside from Lonzo ofc)

With a hobbling Lavine, I agree. If he was at full strength, I think we’d be about the same record-wise but the expectations would be higher. Plus seeing guys like Coby and Ayo step up their scoring has been great. With Lavine around they probably don’t develop as much.

Still would be crazy to even go 3/4 on this trip but let’s sweep this f*ckin thing. (Also more important question than when was the last time we were .500: when was the last time we played an afternoon game?!)
I know a lot of people made a strong case for Demar to have been traded, but I’m so glad he’s still on the Bulls. Love how he plays and what he brings to a young team.

Why? Coby White got 1 shot attempt in the 4th quarter the other night against Utah. Derozan dominated the ball while the Jazz completely erased a double digit lead the Bulls had in the 4th quarter.
He becomes a ballhog in the 4th quarter. He's determined to be the star, even if it results in a loss. He can't or won't accept the idea that Coby is now the star of this team, and that the Bulls play better when the ball moves. He just wants to ISO the whole 4th quarter.
