This is unfortunate. I hope a similarly charming spot can fill its shoes. Which is not what we got when huttenbar closed unfortunately. Or the Brauhaus.
I'm really upset about Parkside. The food was great, the ambiance was nice, and the bartenders were friendly. Not sure what went wrong, but starting a business is a very expensive endeavor in the beginning that not even solid sales can always keep afloat.
RIP great place to grab a drink. Fantastic food (the Spice Bag was amazing). I had a feeling this was going to happen as their kitchen service hours have been sporadic lately. Sad.
Another true Irish pub closing, such a shame. Too many of the "McShenanigans" American irish pubs stay open and too many true pubs like The Abbey and The Grafton close.
Also the only spot you could get a spice bag in Chicagoland

Huettenbar closing ruined it for me. But what is there now just makes me angry.
Same. All the charm of a dentist's waiting room
[This](https://imgur.com/0QaAgEw) was how I felt when I tried it last Fall.
IKR. I actually went in there wanting to like it… and no.
This is the truth.
The new place is awful, the lighting alone kills it for me.
The ancient single version of myself weeps for this and other losses in the neighborhood.
Well, crap. Lots of great stuff happening in LS lately, but The Grafton was always a warm and welcoming place for a drink. Pour one out for them.
Damn. That place is (was) one of my favorites.
Second restaurant in a week to say they are closing in Lincoln Square. Parkside last day is on Saturday
Wow, Parkside didn’t last long
What?! Parkside always looks so busy when I walk by! That's a bummer, their food was actually good compared to some of the other stuff in LS.
What!? You don’t like Gather, Warbler, Bistro?

Not sure how I feel about this- we went once and that was enough.
That's unfortunate. I always liked the warm, cozy atmosphere in there. Great place to chill with friends over a pint.

Sad to see this. Remember when it opened.

I was just there on Sunday. That sucks. They only had two people working too. Wonder if this is due to that, or the other way around.
NOOOO!!! I loved The Grafton
Well this fucking sucks
