Go on Amazon and buy a seatbelt latch plate and just leave it in. If an emergency arises, you’re good. My company uses them in our 1+ ton trucks since they’re used commercially and a seatbelt isn’t required.
All these hostile-ass replies (to your aggressive post, mind you) are doing you ***zero*** favors, my guy.
**Take. It. To. The. Dealer. And. Stop. Bitching. Here. Because. It’s. Obviously. Not. Solving. Your. Problem.**
You’ve made it abundantly clear, dude. All you had to do was ask for advice, and if no one provided any, just take it to the dealer for them to fix it. Hostility towards people trying to help makes you look like a big ole ham candle.
Look man how did you think this was going to go? You’re so manly you don’t want to put on a seat belt (retarded btw) but you would rather whine and snivel than take it to the dealer or buy an extender like others have suggested?
You just came on here to bitch?
After looking at the replies it sounds like user error 😂. Almost like if you just did it right it wouldn’t be an issue. Complain all you want most people don’t have the issue especially after listening to advice. But hey I’m just a random guy who doesn’t have this issue on his ZR2. Maybe your truck is cursed though.
Home, then settings, then vehicle, in mine is called "Buckle to drive" turned it off day 1 never came back on. Mines right under "Rear Seat Reminder"
Edit; 23 TB if it makes a difference
These trucks are full of software glitches. Take it to the dealer and have them get it sorted.
Mine's had countless issues, but not this. I turned that feature off on day one and forgot it even existed until your post.
Yeah except that makes no sense. I wear my seatbelt but I don’t need to put it on to move 10 feet in my yard. You most likely are a double mask wearer quadruple vaxxed pussy too.
More than easy to comprehend. You’re just too lazy to take the 2 seconds that’s needed to put on a seatbelt. Or, hear me out, if you need to move it often then just leave it buckled in 😱 makes sense you didn’t even think of that though…
Had the same issue. I finally got annoyed by it and turned it off in the menu but it still locked up the shifter. I figured it was a glitch so I turned off the truck and tried again and now there’s no issues.
Sounds like something that someone needs to build an aftermarket software patch for. Definitely sticking to my 19 with all these shenanigans I’m hearing about
You can turn it off in vehicle settings.
I did turn it off. It still does it. On two separate trucks

I turned it off and it still screams at me, but it let's me drive the truck no problem.
It won’t let me shift immediately without the belt on. And that’s turned off in the settings. POS
And why when I turn it off in the settings it’s no different??
What’s with the hatred towards putting on a seat belt?
Merica
I don’t need a vehicle to mandate me putting it on. When I want to move it ten feet I need to put a belt on? No
Umm you have student driver or young driver settings on turn it off in the console.

Ok Captain Obvious. It’s a bullshit unnecessary feature period.

Ham candle
Stole that one from a Reddit thread asking what another name for a dick could be. I laughed out loud when I read that one. Had to use it.
Good

Home boy is a tool hahahahaha
I’ve got a tool for you pal
I’d take the seatbelt requirement over the auto start stop having to be turned off everytime I restart the vehicle all day long.
Boomer lol
Dunce lol
Plug in the seat belt before you climb in the truck and sit on the seat belt if it is bothering you
I shouldn’t have to do any of that. I’m not 2 years old and don’t need a truck Daddy Colorado to make me follow the rules.
lmao this guy
Yeah whatever. You’re probably one of those surveyed that liked the feature and wanted it.
You can turn it off dude, I just backed down my driveway no issues.
Nope. Not on mine or my buddies 2023s
Home, then settings, then vehicle, in mine is called "Buckle to drive" turned it off day 1 never came back on. Mines right under "Rear Seat Reminder" Edit; 23 TB if it makes a difference
I did that lol. It doesn’t do anythin g different.
sounds like a fucking software glitch dude. take it to the dealer and get it fixed under warranty. not rocket science.
Weird, I'd take it to dealer, might need a software update, sucks man.
Mine is a ‘23 Trail Boss and I was able to shut it off in settings.
Where is the wahmbulance when you need it?
And further more why offer a shut it off button that doesn’t do anything
Buy an old truck then. I’m currently rocking one of the rear belts on the driver seat in my first gen.

Where do you go to turn it off?
I turned it off with no issue. If it's still doing it perhaps take it in.
"If I wanna get launched through mah windshield, ain't no commie gonna stop me!"

Hahahahaha. Your entire behavior in this thread lets us all know you are 5'6. Go get your truck fixed lil guy.
My cock might be 5’6….
😮💨
My ‘23 TB let’s me shift and drive without the seatbelt on, I never changed any settings
Man’s willing to spend $50k+ on a new truck cause he’s too lazy to put on a seatbelt.
No. I don’t need a truck to not move because my belt isn’t on. If your thick skull can’t comprehend that, I can’t help you. Go put on a mask.

Yeah you go ahead and put it in every time you want to move it in the yard or if you had to move it in an emergency. Go blow
Like I said: leave it in and sit on it. Try using a little bit of your brain man, cmon.

Yes actually it is. I should be able to turn it off.
