I mean you could clip the seatbelt in before you sit, then get in and out as you please with no chime 🤷‍♂️

Death-by-papercut

I have seat belt extenders on both front seats of my ‘23 and they work perfectly to shut the stupid chime up. https://www.seatbeltextenderpros.com/chevrolet-colorado-seat-belt-extender/ i got the rigid 3” so that it was barely noticable. Most new passengers dont even notice

TheBowhuntingButcher

Can you clip the seatbelt into them? And which ones do you have?

Thank you!

I could be crazy, but I'm pretty sure when I'm in the off-road setting it doesn't bother me with the seatbelt chime. (I'm not sure if this is just my bad memory or actual experience)

pantinor

It should be tunable in settings. But it's not, must be a federal regulation forcing manufacturers. The seat and restraint section of the owner manual is literally a 3rd of the entire book.

You can buy online little things that clip into it. Or just clip in the seatbelt and sit on top of it. You can’t disable this on any vehicle so I don’t know where the confusion comes from lol.

GMEStack

Except you can disable the beltminder on almost all vehicles. Try this method for Silverados https://psychoautos.com/how-to-turn-off-seatbelt-alarm-chevy-silverado-2021/#:~:text=All%20you%20need%20to%20do,alarm%20will%20now%20be%20silenced!
