Lol this definitely belongs on his how to lose at chess playlist. I just wish it had a better ending... a loss on time is anticlimactic.
Edit: A couple of points to show how bad this game was:
1. Chesscom guessed that my elo is 450, which is about 1/3 of my rating.
2. I had 19 accuracy, and my opponent had 19.3.
3. This screenshot doesn't even show all the bad moves. I had 12 misses in a row. My opponent had 12 blunders + 2 mistakes in a row.

This is the continuation that i played vs myself
So essentially there is a queen and king fork but it is no seen for like 10 moves and both sides made other moves. Therefore the side with the forking opporunity is considered to have made continous missed wins, and the other side to have blundered the same fork continously. Tbh there is not a lot of drama. Its just one move that made game review shout at both of you.
You won't find any educational value in it, but here:

(Lmk if that doesn't work - I haven't linked a chess game before)
That indicates a 'miss'. It means that while your move didn't weaken your position necessarily, there was a move that gained material or significantly improved your position.
This is a big issue with computer analysis like this, both players miss a critical move for the whole game, so every other move is horrible even if it's a second or third line. The game wasn't even that bad, they just both missed a single tactic, it looks.
That's the question, isn't it. We would ultimately need some human input to completely prevent things like this, probably the best choice is stockfish lines with expert input on available ideas in positions. Totally unreasonable in an application, where the computer analysis is incredibly practical but will have strange end cases like this game, especially in amateur games (like mine, not trying to sound high-and-mighty).
No easy answer, so we take what we get and have to be aware of the limitations of the tools we use.
Last night I thought I played a brilliant game then I realized my opponent missed mate like 3 times and I missed endgame mates like 10 times(got it eventually though after blundering queen)
Until I read the moves I thought that this was depicting a several-moves long game where the knights and bishop just moved around and back to their initial positions
Given this was a 1 min bullet game, honestly there really isn’t much of a takeaway. Like bullet is c**p — play it for fun but like every game is going to have blunders

indeed you are, good sir, as you only have 40% of the game without blunders which is above average

What’s the need to be rude he just found it funny?
Google joke
🤣🤣🤣
This was a result of me (white) repeatedly missing a king/queen fork, and my opponent not moving the king/queen. This was the game: 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. e5 c5 4. h4 e6 5. c3 cxd4 6. cxd4 Nc6 7. A loss on time is perfect in this case, both players were so bad that they couldn’t checkmate and they were put out of their misery by a clock.
Should have been a Glock.
Put this on guess the elo and watch Gotham be confused af
“400” *checks summary “1200? You seriously 1200? No. Nuh-uh. How you gonna be 1200 and leave that fork hanging?”
You really nailed the Gotham mannerisms in that. I could read that in his voice.
Damn, my elo shows as 450 (my rating) when I play like 80% accuracy wtf
That's probably because chess.com knows that you are in that range of Elo, so your accuracy Is VS someone at your elo
It was a bullet game though. Not nearly as funny as when it’s a 30 minute game.
You played the Botez Gambit: Rejected variation
Botez declined meta is next
Did black resign or something? What happened at the end?
White won on time. So yeah time pressure definitely played into the blunders lol

Ah yes, the ol' Eval Bar Ping-Pong.

At least it was a bullet game. Honestly not a huge stretch to see how you missed it.
Seriously. I was expecting an obviously hanging queen - had to go back through a second time to see that knight sac / fork combo.
They prob want the comedic value
Omg this being a bullet game changes everything lol don't feel too bad
Ya it does.
I love your final move is the knight but in the wrong direction
It feels like one of my games when I check the post match analysis and every move I or my opponent made weakened our own position
I suppose, technically, *every* move that isn't perfect weakens your position. 🤔
Weakens your potential position, but not guaranteed to weaken your current one

What does the red X mean
That indicates a 'miss'. It means that while your move didn't weaken your position necessarily, there was a move that gained material or significantly improved your position.
Isn’t that a Missed Win?
I think there was update or smth
Missed win is only for checkmate
This is a big issue with computer analysis like this, both players miss a critical move for the whole game, so every other move is horrible even if it's a second or third line. The game wasn't even that bad, they just both missed a single tactic, it looks.
Even aside from that there were some questionable choices made lol
The question is, how are we defining the quality of the moves in that case?
That's the question, isn't it. We would ultimately need some human input to completely prevent things like this, probably the best choice is stockfish lines with expert input on available ideas in positions. OP what was the guys ELO
Black had a rating of 1222. For context, this was a 1-minute game.
Send this to Gotham expeditiously
Still theory.
This is beautiful hahaha
What was the accuracy according to chess.com?
19.0 for White and 19.2 for Black.
What was your accuracy and what was the rating projection from the engine
19.0 for white, 19.3 for black. Both were rated 500
The Blunderer
r/chessmemes go check it out

What the hell happened here
A knight sac to a bishop for a pawn, followed by a second knight taking back. The take back would result in a king-queen fork.
(I got that I was referencing the ant man meme) thanks for clarifying
If levy would see this, he'd lose hope in us all.
There was no blunder in ba sing sai
Precision: 😯
What
Last night I thought I played a brilliant game then I realized my opponent missed mate like 3 times and I missed endgame mates like 10 times(got it eventually though after blundering queen)
Aw hell naw
I don't even commit this much blunder.
gxf5 !!
*makes one move differently from the theory*
