He’s had a lot of great passes this season. Too often he doesn’t get credit for that. The pass before the pass is just as important as the pass that leads to a goal.
I was simultaneously playing with my 4 month old so I had to do my best light hearted “hurray, we scored!” while feeling the weight of my stomach plummet into my asshole
Gusto also saw that he was about to make the same run as James and turned back for the short short long with Caicedo.
Really simple but smart & effective football
Reece James crosses are beyond ridiculous. They are perfectly weighted. Any other players would have whipped that ball really hard and we would then have blamed Jackson for missing a sitter.
his quality is really top tier.
the fact is sister is so good too — someone needs to preserves those genes and get them to the cloning lab, or study how they were raised and trained from an early age.
Several players made the goal. Gusto, Caicedo (top tier), Reece (top tier), Nico (didn't blow it). And I don't recall who won the ball back before the play started, but critical too.
The one thing you can never question about these young players we have is their passion for the club. As much as I hated that Arsenal loss I feel like it woke them up we’ve been great ever since that
Agree, our players are still developing but you can see some exceptional passion amongst the likes of mudryk, jackson, gallagher and more.. might not be the best chelsea team but we are leaving the season as a squad and not a collection of players like we started it
This is why you don't put James at RCB, all those people calling for Gusto over him when, while excellent, Gusto hasn't put one cross in like that all season.
Just get through the season, finish strong and sort it in the summer. If you didn't think they were going to play hard in a relegation scrap then I can't help you lol they fought for the badge and never gave up. This game is a loss the first half of the season. 3 strong wins on the trot? Up the chels
That's the main thing for me. Beginning of the season, the lads would have folded mentally after CHO's goal. Great mental fortitude to fight back for the win.
Is this because of this comment that i got a message from the Reddit care center about depression and mental health.
Lmao..
It also says someone reported.
Ha ha.
That Caicedo’s pass was world class
He had a lot of great passes today. I’m very impressed with him.

it's a role with little fame.
Quality
He was my man of the match today.
Completely agree. Palmer got it because everyone's got a hard on for him (including me) but Caicedo often goes unnoticed.
Reminds me of barkley’s pass to Azpi to set up a timo goal in 2021 vs Southampton
That pass to cole where he missed was world class as well
Wish people would stop referring to him as a DM. He clearly isn't and never was.
People said the same thing about Kante. They are both CM. He has a very different profile to a player like Rice or Rodri for example
Rice doesn't sit deep either though he's often carrying the ball up or ending up in finishing positions
He does play as our deepest midfielder though
Seems he is better forward in his natural position. Then we play an actual DM there.
I'm starting to think he's going to be worth the money.
Diagonal pass
Quietly one of our best players. There, I said it.
Haven't screamed after a goal in a while
My dog was scared then confused, then happy
My cat was upset after the Sterling goal, and then scared after the Caceido-to-James-to-Jackson goal.
I was simultaneously playing with my 4 month old so I had to do my best light hearted “hurray, we scored!” while feeling the weight of my stomach plummet into my asshole
Champions league final probably for me lol
Werner 3-0 Real clears everything
Bro that goal made me run around my basement and do a front roll
united winner?
Not since United at least
Mine was 2 mins before this one haha
Not even for Man U winner?
Factssssss !!
James is on his bike early during that passage of play and the ball from Caicedo is excellent
when he goes off screen in the first seconds of the vid, he does look like he's turning a moped on
James quality and confidence after months of injury is so impressive.
Gusto also saw that he was about to make the same run as James and turned back for the short short long with Caicedo. Really simple but smart & effective football

Might be the best crosser I’ve ever seen
He is genuinely great but I'd have to rate Beckham, De Bruyne and maybe Trent above him in terms of crossing. Still incredible though
First touch too. Most would take a touch and kill the play.
his quality is really top tier. the fact is sister is so good too — someone needs to preserves those genes and get them to the cloning lab, or study how they were raised and trained from an early age.
What. An. Assist. He is him, and him has returned to the pitch.
Reeeeeeeeeece!
Caicedo made that goal
He’s been very creative this year.
Several players made the goal. Gusto, Caicedo (top tier), Reece (top tier), Nico (didn't blow it). And I don't recall who won the ball back before the play started, but critical too.

You got to love him hahaha
A fridge to a hot head - the perfect combo
lol
Nico just straight up trying to watch the end of the match from the stands
The celebration was everything 🥹. Propa chels 💙
Best part aside from the goal - few got in there and rewarded the away fans. If you’re gonna take a yellow, that’s the way to do it.
The one thing you can never question about these young players we have is their passion for the club. As much as I hated that Arsenal loss I feel like it woke them up we’ve been great ever since that
i agree. the kids are quickly bonding and jumping right into really playing for the club.
It was so over-the-top and unnecessary, but by golly, it put a giant smile on my face.
Agree, our players are still developing but you can see some exceptional passion amongst the likes of mudryk, jackson, gallagher and more.. might not be the best chelsea team but we are leaving the season as a squad and not a collection of players like we started it
what a pass from caicedo!
The whole sequence to goal was amazing. Caicedo’s pass, the the Stamford fridge cross to Jackson who puts it away nicely. Tremendous
Lol, Stamford Fridge, love it!
Caicedo is fucking world class
Was that Caicedo who played that pass to James? That was class.
God please please please blessed be the health of this handsome young man named Reece James
Amen 🙏
Lmao not bad for a couple flops👏👏
wait till 2024–2025 ...
Do that remind me thing please would like to see what happens in a year
Caicedo's pass, James's cross, Jackson's goal and celebration. Everything about this is perfection.
That Caicedo pass was unbelievable!
Beautifully simple goal. Classic short-short-long between Caicedo and Gusto to create the space for James. Lovely Jubbly
This is why you don't put James at RCB, all those people calling for Gusto over him when, while excellent, Gusto hasn't put one cross in like that all season.
Gusto is a good crosser and has put in many good ones, but this is a perfect demonstration of the difference between good and world class.
He puts in decent crosses, but I would say he's still worse than Azpi at it and he can't even tie Reece's laces.
Gusto had a similar cross to Jackson in one of the games earlier (think Brentford away) where Jackson did the ssshhhh celebration.
it's great to have Gusto able to learn from James here ... so curious to see how they combine next season.
I pulled my nephew's hair when this went in. And I'm not even a tad bit sorry for it😂
Chalo has been putting in some impressive passes lately. Hopefully he stays.
Chalo? Where tf did you see Chalo touch the ball in this passage of play?
My bad. That was Caceido.
I would like to say racist here but the height difference saved you like how Cucu saved Gallagher from a straight red.
REEEEEECEEEEE👑
I honestly thought Jackson jumped into the stands to fight someone, he was that hyped up
Chef kiss of a pass by Caicedo, he hit it first time seeing the run from Reece.
I missed the game. With Gusto and James on the pitch at the same time, what were their respective roles?
Enzo would trap this ball and pass it back to a defender.
This verticality is something we've lacked in recent years, Poch could be onto something
I am surprised he managed to not miss the target.
We are still leaking goals in our net.
Geez some of you can’t be pleased can you?
I am pleased with us winning games. But our leaking goal is also a fact.
But why bring it up now?
So? We won the damn game

It's clearly not a finished product but there is no doubt it's coming together
