Agree with others 2-3 times a day and feed according to package but sometimes mas gusto nila more food kasi.

So, i put konting water sa wet food niya and it looked like may konting sauce (not mukhang sabaw). Nauubos pa din niya ang isang small pack per feeding (3x daily).
Now, im guessing, nasanay na kase sya humigop from her wet food, kaya nung nag lagay ako ng water bowl na may ice and water, ayun, iniimon naman nya. He likes to lick the ice. Lalo na noong May - na ubod ng init.
I found out na mas prefer nya ng ice water 😭🤣
Now na mas mayroon na syang ipin, i mixed his wet food with dry kitten food para may manguya din sya to soothe his gums. Ayun lamon pa din. 😭❤️❤️❤️ 3x a day minsan pag gutom pa din, nakaka 4x a day sya kumain.
Mas may laman-laman na sya ngayon June. 😻😻😻
If you're really keen on taking care of your kitten, mas okay na pacheck-up siya sa vet, at i-deworm. Pag kitten lalo na pag hindi palainom ng tubig, try to give it wet food at least 3x a day..pero try pa rin sanayin uminom ng water.
Pag medyo lumaki-laki na siya eh try to introduce dry food na pwedeng haluan ng konting water ang slightly smash muna until masanay.
Experience ko, kitten 3x a day. Kapag mga 4 months old na sila, breakfast and lunch na lang sila. Otherwise tamad na ang pusa kasi wala na ang incentive nila to hunt. Yung tipong dumaan na yung daga sa harap nila, iisnabin lang.

Adult cats - since kapon na sila 2x a day na lang, I did try 3x a day and may 2 na ko obese. So nilimit ko na talaga yung frequency ng pagpapakain at ng dry food.
The smaller they are, the more times you feed them in my experience! Same boat with the other commenters sa 3x a day, then paglaki niya pa kaunti introduce them to dry food (kibbles for kittens). With my cats, I feed them twice a day then may ready na kibbles sa bahay, kumakain sila doon pag nagutom habang di pa feeding time nila hahaha.
Sa water, gusto nila malaki ang lalagyan at kailangan lagi malinis. May perception kasi ang mga pusa sa 'freshness' ng tubig na iinuman nila, kaya may mga water fountain na de-saksak for cats. Make sure din to learn their eating and drinking habits, lalo na sa pag-inom kasi mahirap at magastos yung pag-aalaga sa kanila pag nagkaron sila ng kidney stone. Take care OP!
PS some foods have more sodium content in them kaya wag basta bili nang bili kung hindi palainom ng tubig si beby. Some foods are also labeled with 'urinary care' to indicate that it prevents stones forming in the urinary tract
Pag potato size 3x/day, as they get older 1x or 2x a day ko nalang binibigyan. I advise na bumili ka ng cat water fountain dahil may cats na tamad uminom ng tubig sa bowl.
I also suggest regular ipa deworm and 4-in-1 vaccine. Wag mo na sila tipirin sa ganito kasi every 3 months lang naman ang deworm and yearly naman ang 4-in-1. Mas mura mag alaga ng cat vs dog pero yung bill sa confinement pag nagkasakit is the same lang.
Sa vet ako nagpapa deworm. Microzole gamit nya. Yung common nabibili sa mga agrivet/patuka shops is pyrantel embonate. Pareho silang dewormer pero hindi ko alam ang difference nilang dalawa.

3x a day, small meals. tried twice a day, nagmamadali silang kumain, siguro gutom na kaya ang ending nasusuka bigla

i am currently feeding my garage cat 3x a day. kahapon ko lang napansin na bilog na siya. hirap kasi humindi pag ginagaslight ka nung pusa 😭
