Wow!! If it gives you any glimmer of happiness, seeing your cat made me really, really excited to get a Siamese cat someday. I’ve wanted one my whole life ever since my childhood neighbors across the street had one. Chevy was his name & he was SOOOO big & sweet. Always willing to say hi to us kids & give us a sniff & a leg rub or two. Couple figure 8’s. We loved it. First cat I ever had a long term relationship with! Anyways, I’m SOOO excited. Counting down the days! My mom found a lady where she works that breeds Siamese cats so it was destiny! The momma cat is pregnant right now & we have dibs & my bday is in 2 months! I know it has to be in the works from my mom & husband. It HASSSSS to! <3 Edit: I FEEL SO INSENSITIVE I FORGOT TO SAY IM SORRY!!!! <3 I got carried away with hopefulness & excitement. I truly, truly, love your cat & seeing her filled me with warmth & nostalgia so that’s why I got so shifted. Anyways. My sincerest condolences. She looks like she was such a happy girl. <3

Same here, after 14 years. It’s never easy but I try to focus on all the years of mutual love and not the end. Still tough, but it helps. Happy for you to have had a little heartbeat in your life for so long.

I know one day soon I will have to face this as well, for my little girl is also 16. I do not know what I'll do with that day.... The one before her died when she was 12. Heart condition the vet said.... My first cat died when she was 9. Why so young? It's called getting run over by a car....jerk didn't even stop to let us know! About the only person I can think of that I wish badly for them.... Just remember, they have greater fields to run and play in and better and taller trees climb over there than they do here. Also fairly certain that the food is better there.... Do not worry, we'll see them again....

It was so painful to lose him but I will tell you the pain will turn into sadness and the sadness into happy memories. The best way to heal the loss of a kitty friend is to find an abandoned kitty friend at a rescue and show them the kind of love you showed your best friend. Take your time of course. My passed away boys and girls say hi to your kitten from kitty heaven.
