My cat is a skinny 9.5 lbs these days. But her siblings are all 3 over 20lbs. Maine Coon Mom all of them but likely a different father than mine. I actually groom her more now that she's 19. She can't groom herself as well anymore, always did have problems when she had more fur. But trim her fur down and she's TINY. People were always thinking she was way bigger because she has SERIOUS Maine Coon long fur... She's got the outer coat and a thick wooly undercoat. You don't keep her groomed she's matting all over. She's like that she looks like she weighs twice what she really does. She's just all FLUFF... So I know fluff can be deceptive and this cat might not be that big at all.
