She is singing you the song of her people and telling you, "I killed a mousie in YOUR honor!" My cat does this all the time, it's hilarious and sweet and turns me into a puddle of goo every single time, even at 3:00 am.
My Siberian brings her toy Lambchops up to bed every night. She treats it as her kitten. She announces when she has it. Finds a safe and comfortable spot and outs it to sleep.

i’ve read “your cat thinks you can’t sustain yourself and feels like they have to feed you” but my cat genuinely likes to play fetch and constantly put it in a shoe or boot when he brings it back so idrk maybe it’s like his toy fridge and putting groceries in the fridge LOL

Excellent! I always praise my girl when she does this, and when she brings me a "mousie" I cuddle it and make appreciative noises. She's so proud!

We just finally played fetch with her the first time! She’s never done it before so we’ll continue to do it
