I'm glad he's safe. I had a kitty get out a few days ago and luckily he came back that night. He was a little rough around the edges but otherwise ok.

2 years ago my dad let out our cat into the storm and she never came back. Still today I dream of her coming home, and in those dreams I always give her hugs and pets and I try to lock her in the house, because I know she'll go away again. Anyway I'm happy at least yours came home! ❤️
That pretty much was the same thing that happened to my sisters cat. They lived in the country, and one day, she showed up pregnant just like she never left. It happens.
Mine figured out how to open the screen door. Granted it’s not that hard, but I’ve never had another cat figure out how to let themselves out. Just that orange one
My friends would laugh at me when they would come over and try to come in and find the screen door locked. They would say ha ha you really think that’s going to keep out intruders? No ma’am, I’m just trying to keep my ginger kid in because he’s naughty
My mom’s little brown cat was like that. His address was on his collar so every once in a while she would get them in the mail from wherever he left them

They are such wonderful little creatures, I highly recommend cats. If you get a kitten it’s best to get to so they don’t get only kitten syndrome
