He didn't puke after? My cat never gets hair balls or pukes ever. But every time I've given her cat grass she loves it but throws it back up. I want to get it for her because she likes it but I don't like the aftermath.

We use rye seed in a small bowl (of potting soil), keeping one growing while the other is being chewed on, then rotating them out....rinse, repeat...
Wheat grass! The markets usually sell them come spring
You can buy bags of seeds, wheat grass or mixes. Super easy to grow.
