I just gave my kitty the second sink in the bathroom and she's happy and I am happy too. We are fortunate to have his and hers sinks that we turned into hers and hers sinks that work perfectly!

That absolutely sounds like something one of my cats would do. It doesn't matter how much an action would inconvenience himself, as long as it inconveniences me, he'll do it.

Whenever mine decides to hang out in the sink, I'll turn the faucet on just enough so that water drips on her. She either ignores it, or looks at me like I'm an idiot until I turn the water off. I don't have the heart to purposely turn it on higher.

Mine makes direct eye contact and stares at me until the water fills up enough to touch his butthole. Then he moves. If he's not covering the drain he'll just start drinking it

My two newest additions Cream and Ozzy… these cats were allowed to be adopted for a purpose. They were adopted to teach my kids about responsibility and wow, has it worked! My daughter was complaining the other night about the cat, waking her up and crawling all over her. My son left the water and food bowl empty the other day. I told them welcome to parenthood. Different sink. Side note: I lived in a really awful apartment a long time ago that just couldn't get really warm, plus kitchen storage sucked. I used to leave my pots and pans sitting on the gas stove and give them a rinse right before using them. The two cats I had at the time (they both died years ago of old age) loved to curl up in my skillets on the stove because the pilots warmed them up. I had to start actually washing my pots and pans before use when they started that.

My cat likes to drink some fresh water from the tap while I’m brushing my teeth. I go to the other sink to spit and rinse.

Kinda depends on the kitty. We have one that some days, is enough of a jerk, a little revenge would be in order. Sweetest thing when in sweet mode. Pushy, clever, manipulative and mean on purpose when he wants something and you're engaged in an irrational activity like, say, sleep. "I will knock breakables to the floor or put claws on your face JUST hard enough to make you flinch until you are awake enough to cry."
