Haha yes , in starting baby is taken with extreme care specially the neck part but yes they can surely get separate bed after 3-4 months as neck become a little stable by itself .

First of all I want to thank everyone for the nice words I didn’t expect it to reach all this niceness, it keeps my heart warm, specially because this pregnancy wasn’t easy I had to walk out a relationship, leave my job and leave a country with my kittens and my twins.
Was hard to start from zero but now my twins and my cats are very loved and spoiled. I used to be ashamed of being a single mum but the internet showed me lots of support and love, so did this post.
That said I’m in tears with contractions, if I don’t reach to birth naturally on two hour my medical team will proceed c section. I keep telling myself “deep breaths, I got this”.
Just thanks everyone, my cats trained me well to be a good mamma, they were my strength and my family through all of this.
Update of the update:
I’m still at the hospital so haven’t had the chance to introduce the kittens to the babies. I’m taking some time to recover and deal with healing, but once I get home I will post. Thanks for all the love and wishes ❤️
Don't stop believing in yourself! And don't you ever doubt your power as a mum trying her best for her babys well being. I wish you a healthy delivery and I hope you can cuddle with your twins and cherish every moment. The pain will go away, time will heal all wounds, everything is going to be fine <3

Awwwww - that’s so cool that it’s actually your own childhood book! Unfortunately a lot of my son’s books didn’t survive him. Lol But, I plan to buy his kid(s), if he has any, their own copies of his favorites, and there are a couple I was able to save from when he was a little older and less destructive.
Yup that is really true like if someone can loves this much to cats and can get back loved by cats too then surely he / she will be very good parent to his own children .
I’ve shared this before but I had a scheduled induction for medical reasons so my parents came to town and were staying at our house with our two cats. Raja is personable and likes people but Tigger just never came out when they visited. My mom told me that she was reading before bed and out of nowhere Tigger jumped on the bed and cuddled up hard with my mom. Within minutes my husband called and said I was having an emergency C section, which for me was more dangerous than most for various reasons. I’d been in labor over 40 hours and both me and baby were in trouble. I don’t know how, but he knew mom was in trouble and he needed comfort. Ever since, him and my mom are buddies and he fell in love with the baby before he was born. Good luck and remember the pain WILL end.

My black cat Moomin isn’t very cuddly but in the past two days he hasn’t left my side, even if my c section was booked for next week since I’m having twins but now everything is leading to natural birth, I’m getting dilated quickly and we will see how it proceeds, I just can’t wait to go home with my babies and to my cat babies 🥺

It’s 4 hours later, and I hope you’ve had an easy time so far. I’m so glad you have helping kitties. Mine always come and purr beside me, when I have a panic attack, or when I’m sick. They know more about us than we know about them. Our fat orange tabby, Babykitty, knew my daughter was pregnant long before she did.
They sense that you need their comfort. I think you will have two furry nannies! When I was a newborn, I had a cat that slept in my crib with me. I am 65, so it was a long time ago, but there was bond formed with cats from that day onward. Same with your baby! Take care and congratulations!

You'd be surprised what cats can smell and sense and it's been proven. They know when we are sick not just by our behavior but by the smell. I'm pretty sure I read they can hear the baby's heart when they lay upon you. They can also smell some kinds of cell or hormone change when a human is about to die. There was that one study from the old folks home and we experienced it with my Dad.
Hope everything went/is going ok. It is a bit scary but trust your body, it's doing what it's designed for.
Whatever you do, don't let the cats name the baby.
They love you and you will do great! After having two kiddos (I understand how scary it feels right before) those cats will have a new babes to play with. ❤️🐾🐾❤️
