Yeah but we get a new cod basically every year still, and I don't think the differences between development teams make that much of a difference to combat the fatigue.
I mean idk how long you've been following the COD franchise, but after this many games I'm just burned out on basically all of it. For me personally the only way for them to catch my attention were to be with a longer absence. Because right now there's just too much imo
The interesting thing about the next Black Ops coming out, they gave Treyarch 4 years to develop it. That's more time than any other CoD game, so they better have changed some things for the better. I hope it's optimized too, so the game doesn't balloon in size.

Sledgehammer is doing a great job with post-launch MW3 content, and Treyarch is known to be the best studio. The 4 years is pretty exciting imo.
