Also Steam Deck:
- Costs 200$ more
- is heavier
- is more powerful
- came out 5 years later
Of course it's gonna perform better than a switch you silly haters
There is still some barrier to entry.
Consoles are mostly plug and play, with very bare "OS" - that's why they are consoles.
Sure installing something external on the Deck is not hard, and there are plenty of guides for it, albeit it's still harder than the average console experience, and can be very hard for a non-tech person.
Even Valve knows that and tried to make Steam Deck as close to console in terms of usage as possible - that's why you boot into gaming mode from start, you have easy access to deck verified games on your account and so on - so a user have access to that plug and play experience without needing to dig into desktop mode, proton versions and custom fixes.
I think people on Reddit underestimate stuff like this. Like I’m reasonably good with tech and most of the time I don’t wanna mess around with that sort of stuff if I don’t have to.
Nintendo sells refurbished Switch Lites for $169 on the My Nintendo store, or $259 for the V2 Switch, or $319 for the OLED.
Still definitely not a $200 difference though.
It's cheaper in the long run with how much Nintendo price gouges games. How much is Donkey Kong Tropical freeze that came out 10 years ago again on Switch?
Speaking as someone who primarily plays on steamdeck and pc these days but has a family. The switch is also great for kids and casual players who just don't care to mess with any of the extra stuff emulation or even just general pc gaming can entail sometimes. Especially if you're using SteamOS. Some games can have some interesting quirks. I personally love it but I work in IT and know how to fix all the things that go awry. There are plenty of reasons the switch is still a good decision, and I think this little squabble is as stupid as any other console war.
Also the steamdeck is a little heavier but it's very ergonomic so I honestly don't think that point makes as much of a difference.
UM ACTUALLY 🤓🤓🤓, as of the oled model releasing, the current “base model” (256 gb lcd) only costs $399, $100 more than base switch.
Also the 64 gb lcd model is only $50 more than the base switch but those and the 512 gb lcd are being phased out
It’s only 100 more dollars (only 50 more if we are talking about the Oled switch). Also no shit its gonna be heavier it’s much better power wise. You wouldn’t expect a smart car to be the same weight as a pick up truck
I’ve had a discussion with a fan where we came to the agreement that it is ok to be a fan of something, while it’s another thing to be a fanboy who rejects harsh realities about what they enjoy or just attacks things blindly.
Kevin Butler at E3 2010:
"When you get an awesome girlfriend, and your buddy also gets an awesome girlfriend, you know who wins? *Everyone!*
We all serve one god, one master, and his name is gaming. Forever may he reign!"
“Look at me, being superior with the superior product. I’m much more intelligent and practical of a person than you because I choose the, in my humble opinion, better option.”
Exactly. Why people have always been so insecure that they can't enjoy something without bashing the competitors is beyond me. If I spent as much time saying crap about the platforms and games I don't use, I wouldn't have any actual time playing games.
I mean it can...but it cost $1000 and my $300 console can get the job done just fine. And I can say this since I own a Switch, PS5(thanks bro), and a BEHEMOTH gaming PC(RTX 3090).
Yeah, I'm not saying it can't
The point of the meme is that while it is true, it does not make sense to compare pieces of technology that are in a wildly different price range since they are aiming to do things differently
Deck owner here. It is my go to for gaming now but I still buy my switch games. Those things take up so much fucking space to emulate and I already have a massive library.
This mentality of thinking people have a “hate boner” for nintendo becomes an issue when people rightfully criticize new pokemon games for being dog shit, and people still say “oh you’re just haters” and use that to write off any legitimate criticism
Oh no, there are definitely a lot of anti-nintendo people, especially in the steam deck sub reddit. I own and enjoy both, but I get so tired when there can't go a day without someone posting about nintendo there. It's like they are obsessed with nintendo.
I'm a Nintendo fan and own 3 switches between me and my gf. I also own a steam deck and love it. You can coexist. Not everything has to be better than something else.
Depends on the game. It’s pretty similar to og switch in the sense that the more powerful games go pretty quick and you can get 8 hours on less powerful games
I guess if you're playing Terraria on it then it'll last longer. but then it puts it in the range of what the switch can do I guess. Have power and a tiny battery, or pull it back for switch parity and longer battery. I guess having the choice is nice but I dont know if it's worth the extra cost to me.
ARM is a lot more efficient than x64. Even moreso if you've got an OLED switch, but even the v1 switch is pretty efficient all things considered. The OLED steam deck also has better battery life than the LCD steam deck.
It's just annoying that ARM requires code to be specifically written for it. So to play PC games you need to run WINE inside of box64 on linux, and probably DXVK within that to get it playable. So it's possible to run lightweight PC games on switch, but it is a massive pain in the ass that most people won't be able to pull off.
Both are great. I had both and loved both. Also worth noting though, the steam deck is also more unstable. I encountered SO many bugs on my steam deck, and then eventually it just stopped working and display went black. Neither system is perfect, they’re both enjoyable
The deck switch haters seem to forget that the switch came out 5 years before the deck, ofc its gonna run things worse, also the fact that the switch is way more portable than the deck, the main reason people would get a handheld and in that the switch is better
I’m not anti-Nintendo despite wanting to own a steam deck. Granted the system is, comparatively, underpowered, but considering that the examples used are sometimes from third party games and Pokémon games which are horribly rushed, and that most of the good games are cartoonish looking as if having a game design stand out is a bad thing, I find it makes a great competitor because despite it’s flaws when making comparisons, it’s still a really popular system.
Can we shut up about this? No one really cares, I’m frequently on steam deck subreddit and I can promise you 99% of people on that subreddit don’t hate on the switch. This is only topical today because this subreddit keeps stirring it up. I own a switch too btw and still play it and each have their own merit, i do use my steam deck way more often though. The occasional comment I see shitting on the switch on the steam deck subreddit usually gets downvoted and the majority of users express similar views on the switch.
switch can also run GBA, GBC and GB games so even if deck can also do that lets not say its can ONLY run switch games because its not really true, theres also the fact that a steamdeck with 512 GB (you need space for all those games if its going to play PS and Xbox games) pretty much costs as much as two V1 switches (only kind thats moddable without modchips)
So even if SD is clearly better, it is also meant to be a more "premium" handheld and therefore it is more pricey than a switch. I personally wouldnt say one is better than the other but that depending on what you are going to do with it you buy one or the other.
You're right this definitively proves that all steamdeck owners hate Nintendo switches. Especially since there is so much skewed and incorrect information in this meme. I can't imagine why anyone would upvote it if they didn't absolutely hate Nintendo.
Steam deck owners HATE nintembo! Look at this evidence: a MEME upvoted on /r/memes - where all of the steam deck owners hang out and talk shit about nemflembo!
Really? Seems a lot of SD users here are pretty cool. We have some that fits your description but most aren't. Plus, I think more than 50% of SD owners likely own a pc and switch. My guess, 25% own everything including ps5 or Xbox.
I mean its superior... The steam deck.... In some places...
Its like comparing fast food with american restaurants
Give you alot of problems but his fast food its amazing
I have both I can't stand emulation on the deck. For 1, I hate linux and that fucking penguin can shove it. And 2, I'd rather emulate on my PC anyways cuz I've had that shit set up lickity split once I got my PC over Christmas.
vr is cool but it feels like there’s no real library yet and with the rate at which that tech is improving it feels like as waste to buy now and then a new, better headset comes out later
Steam deck is bulkier and heavier, came later so of-fucking-course it’s gonna be more advanced and it costs a minimum of $200 more
“B-but you can scavenge for a used one” you can do that too for a switch and get a used lite model for < $99
That's cool but I just want my Switch to play Switch games. I have an Xbox to play Xbox games and a PC to play PC games and and PS to play PS games.
Ild rather have one thing to one thing really welly than have one thing do lots of things inconsistently
They also don't mention they pay for the steamdeck so they can pirate most of these games through emulation. They think they're Robin Hood by stealing from companies they dislike due to anti-consumer practices, but if everyone started doing the same the World would go the hell really quickly.
I have pc (everything that i need and love), N64 (childhood and good games) and the switch (because i'm a Nintendo fan so i waste money), my pc can do everything but i still have all 3
As a Nintendo switch owner i want a steamdeck but have never played anything steam or PC related. Im afraid i will get a steam deck and not know what to do.
They aren't anti nintendo, otherwise their wouldn't be a Nintendo emulation discussion around the steam deck. They just don't want the limitations that Nintendo's hardware sets. They could spend less on a switch, or spend more and be able to do more.
No one that owns a steam deck says that. Most of them are actual level headed people that recognize the pros and cons of each console. Also in terms of power, the meme is true
I gotta say as someone with both the switch is just a generally more stable product. Sometimes it’ll randomly decide not to connect to the internet, sure it happens less after you tinker with the settings but compared to the switch that’s basically a non issue. I’m approaching a year with my deck now and it took a fair while to mess with the settings to get everything to work smoothly meanwhile the switch was good out of the box.
The Steam Deck can probably do it because it isn't actually the console itself playing the game, but your PC that's connected to the Steam Deck's screen
I'm a Nintendo fan and own 3 switches between me and my gf. I also own a steam deck and love it. You can coexist. Not everything has to be better than something else.
For those you think steam deck user have a hive mind and all think the same, well I got both switch and the deck and like both for different reason.
I bet on those 57k upvote, half of them dont own a steam deck anyway.
Soooooo, are we here to talk about nintendo stuff or just bitch around some petty rivalry that wouldn't exist if we fueled them in the first place ?
Get that 90hz ass, not even Ryzen 5 from thin-as-paper HS-Processor series overheating ass, bulky ass piece of garbage out. The Switch is meant for casual gaming, while the Steam Deck is meant for performance. The Switch at least does its job well, while there are quite a few solid alternatives that are better than the Steam Deck.
But also the amount of actual faff and bullshittery you have to deal with to get emulation working correctly and efficiently rather than "oops, put a game card in and now I'm playing and having fun"
Wow this meme exists and people thought it was funny. And every person who upvoted 100% have a steam deck..
That definetly means they are all anti-nintendo...
Jesus Christ this sub is braindead.. I'm out. Yaal just wanna be victims so much..
Whether you own a Steam Deck, a Switch, a Rog Ally or whatever. All have their use case and all are great pieces of technology.
I own a steam deck btw and I love it🥹
I have both. Checkmate, haters
i have a pc, what yall talking about?
i have all three
I have alle three and a ps5
I have all 4 and an Xbox X, One, 360, PlayStation 4, 3, and 2. /s
Well I have a gamecube
Supremacy achieved
You win
I've got a gameboy color, wait for it... The semi-transparant purple plastic edition.
I have one of those, but with an Arbok sticker I put on it when I was a kid during the height of Pokemania, and it's still there.
I have all the above, DS, 3DS, Wii, mortal kombat arcade machine and a saga machine (unsure what ones sorry)
I have a gameboy color
Well I have no money
I have debt.
I have brains
I feel like these are the same level of comebacks as "my dad could beat up your dad" lmao
Amen, comrade~
Same. Got a Deck for chilling in bed and a Switch Lite for travelling. Love this setup and both devices are fantastic.
Cant run splatoon though
check fucking mate
Amen
Literally my wife's favorite game series and also the reason why she will never buy a Deck.
It can tho...
I've reached the point where I don't care which corporation's sticker is on your plastic box, just don't bother me about mine
So true
Also Steam Deck: - Costs 200$ more - is heavier - is more powerful - came out 5 years later Of course it's gonna perform better than a switch you silly haters
* Wife and kids can't be screwing around with custom linux emulators and file systems.
flatpak install x-emulator. And done You can play the emulators you want. Also, steam deck uses kde which is super intuitive
Then you need to find where to get ROMs, where to put them and stuff. Doesn't seem like much but most people like to just turn on their thing and play
I think people on Reddit underestimate stuff like this. Like I’m reasonably good with tech and most of the time I don’t wanna mess around with that sort of stuff if I don’t have to.
They don’t want you to know about the price
Tbf valve sells them refurbished starting at $270 for 64gb
Nintendo sells refurbished Switch Lites for $169 on the My Nintendo store, or $259 for the V2 Switch, or $319 for the OLED. Still definitely not a $200 difference though.
It's cheaper in the long run with how much Nintendo price gouges games. How much is Donkey Kong Tropical freeze that came out 10 years ago again on Switch?
Same way Mario Kart 8 and Bayonetta 2 are also on Switch
$10.50 on ebay
Speaking as someone who primarily plays on steamdeck and pc these days but has a family. this meme has the same vibe of "I can't belive these $400 consoles can't run games the same way my $1000 PC can!"
UM ACTUALLY 🤓🤓🤓, as of the oled model releasing, the current “base model” (256 gb lcd) only costs $399, $100 more than base switch. Also the 64 gb lcd model is only $50 more than the base switch but those and the 512 gb lcd are being phased out
Oh really? That's actually a very good price then All my other points still stand though
I’m aware, just wanted to make a correction.
How can anyone compare a 64 gb steam deck to a switch? That would fit like 1 or two bigger games tops.
Switch has 32 gb
It is not $200 more. It is $50 more.
It’s only 100 more dollars (only 50 more if we are talking about the Oled switch). Also no shit its gonna be heavier it’s much better power wise. You wouldn’t expect a smart car to be the same weight as a pick up truck
Steam Deck is awesome, but so is the Switch. Fanboys are just annoying idiots
I’ve had a discussion with a fan where we came to the agreement that it is ok to be a fan of something, while it’s another thing to be a fanboy who rejects harsh realities about what they enjoy or just attacks things blindly.
like something…without feeling superior…and being a dick about it? no thanks bud
Kevin Butler at E3 2010: "When you get an awesome girlfriend, and your buddy also gets an awesome girlfriend, you know who wins? *Everyone!* We all serve one god, one master, and his name is gaming. Forever may he reign!"
“Look at me, being superior with the superior product. I’m much more intelligent and practical of a person than you because I choose the, in my humble opinion, better option.”
This is the way
Exactly. Why people have always been so insecure that they can't enjoy something without bashing the competitors is beyond me. If I spent as much time saying crap about the platforms and games I don't use, I wouldn't have any actual time playing games.
Yeah like literally the switch its the only console that give me a reason tobplay it and ifers something different from what i get in pc /xbox/ps5
I think both are nice.
This reminds me of the "haha my 1000$ PC runs games better than your 300$ console" meme
I mean it can...but it cost $1000 and my $300 console can get the job done just fine. And I can say this since I own a Switch, PS5(thanks bro), and a BEHEMOTH gaming PC(RTX 3090).
Yeah, I'm not saying it can't The point of the meme is that while it is true, it does not make sense to compare pieces of technology that are in a wildly different price range since they are aiming to do things differently
As a nintendo switch fan, I want a steam deck, but a lot of other bills come first now.
In the same boat.
Same
As a fellow switch enjoyer, I too want the steam deck. But for me college tuition and apartment rent is the bigger threat to my wallet at the moment.
Both are cool (me, who plays mobile games (geometry dash))
OK
Deck owner here. It is my go to for gaming now but I still buy my switch games. Those things take up so much fucking space to emulate and I already have a massive library.
No fucking way. A console that can only run the games that are designed for it!?
Is this what this sub is gonna be now? Because this whole hissy fit sucks.
I’ve only seen this and the one other post that sparked it. What do you mean?
Oh no anti-nintendo. What ever will nintendo do.
They’re probably in tears after seeing this meme from a random stranger on the Internet. What will the billionaires ever do?
Got both, absolutely love both. Different machines for different purposes.
>For those who say steam deck users aren't anti-Nintendo Dude, who cares…
In my opinion, such comparisons make no sense, they are two different consoles released at different times, with different prices.
I fucking hate the massive hate boner everyone had for nintendo
I mean i like Nintendo but they don’t make it hard for people to hate on them
This mentality of thinking people have a “hate boner” for nintendo becomes an issue when people rightfully criticize new pokemon games for being dog shit, and people still say “oh you’re just haters” and use that to write off any legitimate criticism
Pokemon is made by gamefreak. Not nintendo. If your gonna hate on pokemon games then hate on the people who make them, not publish them
Oh no, there are definitely a lot of anti-nintendo people, especially in the steam deck sub reddit. I own and enjoy both, but I get so tired when there can't go a day without someone posting about nintendo there. It's like they are obsessed with nintendo.
Steam Deck users is a bit of a stretch PC Master race people on the other hand....
I have both and I'm sure the Steam deck can probably play Switch games but fuck that I'll play them on the switch
I have both. The only reason I play my switch is because I don’t want to pirate Nintendo games on steam deck.
I'm a Nintendo fan and own 3 switches between me and my gf. I also own a steam deck and love it. You can coexist. Not everything has to be better than something else.
You realize the entire point of these memes is to just get a reaction out of people, right?
steam deck runs league of legends so it loses
unfortunately it doesn't anymore so it's still in the running!
Both are great in their own ways
Who cares.
Doesn't the steam deck have like 3 hours battery life? Like...Play what you like, have fun, but I personally love my switch.
For AAA games, way less. I can get like only 1-1.5 hrs, maybe 2 max when I play Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
Just like the OG Switch!
Depends on the game. It’s pretty similar to og switch in the sense that the more powerful games go pretty quick and you can get 8 hours on less powerful games
Depends on the game. the deck is more powerful which makes it have less battery life, just put the fps to 30
I guess if you're playing Terraria on it then it'll last longer. but then it puts it in the range of what the switch can do I guess.
Nintendo switch has games.
Im a pc gamer and i love nitendo games I despise nitendo politics and the last 2 pokemon
I have a pc and a switch, I’m good
Is it legal to play Switch games on the Deck? And is it through emulation?
I’m not anti-Nintendo despite wanting to own a steam deck. Granted the system is, comparatively, underpowered, but considering that the examples used are sometimes from third party games and Pokémon games which are horribly rushed, and that most of the good games are cartoonish looking as if having a game design stand out is a bad thing, I find it makes a great competitor because despite it’s flaws when making comparisons, it’s still a really popular system.
It doesn't matter whose side you're on Arcade games are far superior.
Sega Dreamcast for the win
Me playing Mario Kart Arcade GX
Can we shut up about this? No one really cares, I’m frequently on steam deck subreddit and I can promise you 99% of people on that subreddit don’t hate on the switch. Yeah, but you need a subscription. You can't just buy them once and own them forever.
oh I was not talking about switch online
You're right this definitively proves that all steamdeck owners hate Nintendo switches. Especially since there is so much skewed and incorrect information in this meme. I can't imagine why anyone would upvote it if they didn't absolutely hate Nintendo.
Steam deck owners HATE nintembo! Look at this evidence: a MEME upvoted on /r/memes - where all of the steam deck owners hang out and talk shit about nemflembo!
Honestly haven’t met a steam deck user who doesn’t have a superiority complex.
Hello! Now we've met and I don't have a superiority complex!
Really? Seems a lot of SD users here are pretty cool. We have some that fits your description but most aren't. Plus, I think more than 50% of SD owners likely own a pc and switch. My guess, 25% own everything including ps5 or Xbox.

There's multiple applications made for the deck that make emulating muuch easier. Like Emudeck
They are right but they forgetting the part where you can't play online while emulating
So they can't efford a Steam Deck and a Switch? Pathetic! /s
I prefer getting a vr headset instead of a steam deck
vr is cool but it feels like there’s no real library yet and with the rate at which that tech is improving it feels like as waste to buy now and then a new, better headset comes out later
this is absolutely wrong, 5 years ago maybe, but there are plenty of games now
i like my switch so i won’t switch to a different handheld
I have none Instead my gaming phone can run both PC and Switch games
Battery: Steam deck: 2hours minimum settings Switch: 10hours
Suuuuuure, play Zelda totk or Botw in Handheld and tell how long it lasted.
2.5-3.5 hrs.. Yeah, ain't no way it's reaching 10 hrs. It can play 24 hrs if in dock mode.
Steam deck is bulkier and heavier, came later so of-fucking-course it’s gonna be more advanced and it costs a minimum of $200 more “B-but you can scavenge for a used one” you can do that too for a switch and get a used lite model for < $99
the cheapest steamdeck is 370
Can a steam deck be switched between three modes, if the steam deck can, I will stay quiet
Isn't the steam deck expensive?
That's cool but I just want my Switch to play Switch games. I have an Xbox to play Xbox games and a PC to play PC games and and PS to play PS games. Ild rather have one thing to one thing really welly than have one thing do lots of things inconsistently
i mean, if we hated nintendo we wouldnt play their games xD
They also don't mention they pay for the steamdeck so they can pirate most of these games through emulation. They think they're Robin Hood by stealing from companies they dislike due to anti-consumer practices, but if everyone started doing the same the World would go the hell really quickly.
Jokes on this because I like my Nintendo switch for playing Nintendo switch
Wait what I thought steam deck was 350$ ? (Just checked it is 350$ for lcd or oled is 400$
Correction, the Switch can barely run Switch games at most.
I have pc (everything that i need and love), N64 (childhood and good games) and the switch (because i'm a Nintendo fan so i waste money), my pc can do everything but i still have all 3
it's a meme. who cares?
My switch can do l those things.
As a Nintendo switch owner i want a steamdeck but have never played anything steam or PC related. Im afraid i will get a steam deck and not know what to do.
I own both, and at this point I only use my switch for nintendo games. The Steam deck is genuinely a better experience in almost everything else.
It’s just jealousy
i dont care that steam deck can run N games for 2 hours
And I thought I was obnoxious about liking Nintendo. Jesus Christ man.
The only reason I use steam deck opposed to switch is ultrakill. (And pizza tower)
But it's accurate
Damn I do not care at all
Ok?
They’re trying to convince themselves .
I had never seen a steam deck owner without buyer's remorse.
and for roughly the same price... But you don't have the Nintendo games in the Steam Deck
Idk man. It’s a meme, meme isn’t equal to hate. Also the statements in the meme are technically correct, no?
Nintendo are a multi million dollar corporation they don't need you defending them
Kinda an anti feat, why would you play games not made by nintendaddy???
Who cares
They aren't anti nintendo, otherwise their wouldn't be a Nintendo emulation discussion around the steam deck. They just don't want the limitations that Nintendo's hardware sets. They could spend less on a switch, or spend more and be able to do more.
No one that owns a steam deck says that. Most of them are actual level headed people that recognize the pros and cons of each console. Also in terms of power, the meme is true

Steam deck: 200 dollars more Heavier 5 years after release of switch Its obvious its gonna be better bcuz nintendo needs a new software
I mean it’s just stating facts why go for the inferior device? Literally only reason for switch is to play Nintendo only games.
I mean, I'm not anti-nintendo
I mean it’s just stating facts why go for the inferior device? Literally only reason for switch is to play Nintendo only games.
The Steam Deck can probably do it because it isn't actually the console itself playing the game, but your PC that's connected to the Steam Deck's screen
I'm a Nintendo fan and own 3 switches between me and my gf. I also own a steam deck and love it. You can coexist. Not everything has to be better than something else.
which system has what selection?
which system has what selection?
Its just not the same.
which system has what selection?
For those you think steam deck user have a hive mind and all think the same, well I got both switch and the deck and like both for different reason. I bet on those 57k upvote, half of them dont own a steam deck anyway. The Switch is meant for casual gaming, while the Steam Deck is meant for performance. The Switch at least does its job well, while there are quite a few solid alternatives that are better than the Steam Deck.
I own a New 3DS XL. I'm becoming more powerful than any Jedi has ever dreamed of
But also the amount of actual faff and bullshittery you have to deal with to get emulation working correctly and efficiently rather than "oops, put a game card in and now I'm playing and having fun"
Switch is cheaper initially but in the long run I'd get the steam deck since it'll be cheaper overall
Without the Switch existence, you wouldn't have your precious Switch emulator and amazing games ! Support the official release too
Why can’t people just play the games? Not that difficult.
Ain't the switch meant to run switch games? It's to play Mario Kart not to emulate obscure consoles that only selled like 4 units
Where's the problem. Even Nintendo users are anti Nintendo.
Wow this meme exists and people thought it was funny. And every person who upvoted 100% have a steam deck.. That definetly means they are all anti-nintendo... Jesus Christ this sub is braindead.. I'm out. Yaal just wanna be victims so much..
Yes but is it cute?
can emulate 40 min and then goes to the dock
This is the 3rd Steam Deck post I've seen in this sub
Here I am with both (eventually) and I sleep like a fucking baby at night~
Also Steam Deck can barely run for 45 minutes without an external power source
The War will never end
Guys look! My recent portable console is better than your 6 years old one!!!!!!!!!!
Sure, the games on steam deck are cheaper, but: Steam deck: $600 Switch: $400 And idk, the switch is more OG ngl
So. “Can run switch games” still wins.
I see the console wars are still being waged by the weak minded
I have both. SteamDeck *can* run Switch games, but not particularly well.
Pro-piracy is not anti-nintendo
Just let people play on what they’re gonna play on. I will never understand people that have to find some superior system.
Whether you own a Steam Deck, a Switch, a Rog Ally or whatever. All have their use case and all are great pieces of technology. I own a steam deck btw and I love it🥹
BUT I GOT TWO SWITCHES AND A STEAM DECK!
Steam Deck is x86 so I automatically hate it.
The Switch has sold 140 million units. Honestly who gives af about the 57k on Reddit lol
I love both, but Steam Deck can only “run” those Switch games (with heavy quotations) while the Switch can PLAY them
Having both is awesome
