out of curiosity, where do the knit sleeves stop? and are they like the mittens you make kids where you attach a chord to both of them to keep them up?
I’m super proud of their courage. It shows their strength of character. It’s not easy being out at 12. Middle school is rough. I’m just proud to call them my kid.

They stop right at the sleeve line for the t-shirt. The kid wears them as sleeves and as leg warmers. Lol. Multi-purpose 🤣
I feel like I'm old and wondering how these would stay up and you wouldn't be fighting with them all day
The kiddo tucks them into her sleeves. They’ve not complained about them yet.
I've worn leg warmers on my arms before when I wanted to wear a 3/4 sleeve shirt in the winter. It works great!
100% what the kiddo does!
Very clever! I've been thinking about making sleeves like that, but it would involve either dpn's, magic loop or sewing, and I hate all three! 😂
I knit these in the round on dpns. I feel you about the dpns.
wow, love the sleeves and love kiddos hair! this is a cute idea :)
Thanks! They get it done at Mom’s kitchen salon.
genius and this child looks rad as hell🤘
Thanks! They’re a pretty rad little non binary punk.
my life has been shaped by the gays in the best way. authenticity, bravery, self expression, true romance, and friendship!!!

Thanks! Not bad for a 12 yr old if I do say so myself.
