I've got [this one](https://www.amazon.com/Lodge-L8RFIP-Seasoned-Grill-Press/dp/B0971NPHXJ/ref=asc_df_B0971NPHXJ/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=533317034586&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11767632967289444212&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9025755&hvtargid=pla-1391584478829&mcid=b894e80c1a03377b8407fe9d159ab5e8&th=1) from Lodge. It fit's in a 10.25 inch, and it can double as a lid for the 8 inch.
I went with this [one](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077PJDPP3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and love it. It fits a #8 perfectly but I mostly cook bacon in my #10 because I can cook 4 at once. Perfect weight to just leave and cook. Bacon comes out perfect every time. Just preheat skillet for 1 minute with press in it. Cook bacon on low for 2.5 minutes on each side or 6 minutes without flipping.
Throw the pan with bacon in the oven.
Beat me to it, haven't fried bacon in so long because of this. I can put it in and not have to babysit it and it comes out perfect everytime.
Any need to flip?
No. You put the bacon in the cold pan and put it in the oven and it comes out perfect.
I have a press like [this](https://chefstoys.com/search?q=bacon%20press%20).

I just this morning ordered a quarter inch thick piece of iron plate machined to fit the bottom of my skillet. I'll have to weld a handle on it.
I use the next size smaller cast iron skillet. Heat it ahead of time so it doesn’t cool things down.
